Red Oak Village — Local services in San Marcos

Awesome place when you have awesome money. If you don't, you will not be there very long. Many businesses have discount signs and sales on the outside of the window. No problem with that but until I go in to see what type of deals they have, it almost feels like the original price before the discount was doubled. Therefore you're really not getting a deal at all but tricky advertising methods. Clever but a waste of my time. Valuable time. It's clean and maintained very nicely. Friendly folks. It was fun while it lasted. And yes I will be back. Hopefully with more money...

Sam's Club is great to shop during this time with everything going up in prices to buy bulk. We get our eggs, toilet paper, paper towels. Tide pods, fabric dryer sheets. We may pay a little more but it's less of us having to go to the grocery store for the toilet paper, paper towels, and tide pads. I would say a family of 6 lasts us about a month and 1/2 into the next month close to the end of the second month. That's pretty good. Except for the eggs. That lasted until the end of the month. We visited Sams Club and had an amazing lunch there! The Polish Dog special was superb (we even added sauerkraut) which was paired with a fresh fountain drink which we felt honored by being allowed to serve ourselves… Following the gastronomical delight, we travelled throughout the vast wilderness of the store where we procured our household necessities in copious quantities.
