Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in San Marcos

This was the worst experience I've ever had....I drove up to order and I specifically asked for 1/2 spicy and 1/2 regular my side was French fries and 6 jalapeno and a coke. I drive up to the window and the young lady just puts a tray out and I see writing on it and I asked her whsts this? She then tells me it's for you to put your money! All the time e everyone in there is going on heaven knows about what! But when I leave not once did she offer condiments gave me the bag and that was it! No thank you or nothing. As I'm driving off I noticed I don't have my drink! I backed up no one that the window I said may I have my drink? Finally one lady looks and says what was your drink? I said coke then she gives it to me. Just to get home and I open up the bag and see no French fries but mashed potatoes! Really I call over there they answer the phone Hello! I asked is this popeye's?she hasistaed and hung up the phone. So I called back and again the lady that answered said hello how can I help you! I asked her too is this popeye's she then said yes. I asked to speak to the manager in charge and I could clearly hear someone in the back tell her tell her your the manager! He told her twice by then I was beyond myself I told her I was calling corporate. She said if I wanted to come back for the fries I told her no I live 5 miles out of the city limit. She then said what's your name I said Diana and that's all she asked for and said when you come back we will give you the fries. I told her I don't want the fries by then and I hung up. I've visited other popeyes and never have I had service like i experienced today. This is the worst service I have had in all the popeyes I've visit for I love popeyes fried chicken but the service has made me not visit that establishment again especially this store its the one in sam Marcos across the ER center..this insisdent happen around 1:15...

If I could give this a place a zero, I would. The eating area was filthy, the tables and floors. I had to clean my own my table. Nothing was stocked like napkins, straws, and the soda fountain looked questionable, no ice. I had to ask for straws, and then when I went to go back and ask for napkins, the cashier Sandra was talking about me in Spanish to the other employees, including the managers!!! I was just standing there staring at her like you got to kidding me!!! Then she turns around all fast and starts apologizing! I was like, all I asked for were straws and napkins cause nothing is stocked!! And now that I have my food, I need honey mustard cause you didn't give it to my mom, which she asked for it when ordering. She then begins to tell me I was being rude to her, and I ruined her day?! All I freaking asked for were the essentials for my family's meal to be enjoyed. I didn't leave. We sat and ate our meal because I didn't feel like I did anything wrong. But speaking to the manager, Camailla didn't help either she just apologized then walked away. I won't be going back here, lol!!! I miss the other Popeyes in San Marcos never had any issues. And I've worked in the food industry. I know it's hard work for little pay. But this was just crazy never have I had an experience like this!! I felt like I was being punked for some Tiktok video. And if she wants to look at the camera footing the way she told me, I would happily sit down with you...

I am regular in that restaurant because my workplace is near to it. I have seen so many errors in this restaurant. I fed up and it's time for me to write the review for this restaurant.

The list below is the common issue I have seen from that restaurant and I want the restaurant to improve how they serve their customers so I am writing the list that they need to improve.

I am deaf so I often get told to pull forward and they bring food to me. It's unfair to us compare to hearing people get their food at window.

They "almost" always run out of BBQ sauce which is no excuse. They should request double or triple quantity of BBQ sauce than other sauces that they usually receive.

They always throw sauces inside food box which is not appropriate. Sauces should not be in food box and should be in bag.

They just throw cajun fries inside box without carton which is also inappropriate.

They give you just food box, no bag. This is not how it is supposed to be.

They often get orders wrong such as giving me mild/regular tenders instead of spicy which I ordered for. Or sometimes give me mashed potatoes instead of cajun fries.

Chickens sometimes are not fully cooked.

Employees there do not wear mask properly, they either have it taken off or...
