Never in my life had I ever been more annoyed. My experience here was awful. I’d rather pay to go to see a movie packed with crying babies than to ever come here again. It was a hot day and I just spent a pretty penny on gardening equipment just up the street from lowes and figured it’ll be nice to get some drinks so my friend and I could keep cool out in the sun. Well, I was wrong. My friend and I got an ocean water and a ‘strawberry real fruit slush’. I was in a good mood and enjoyed waiting in a cooled car and was excited to do some gardening. I was wrong again. We waited, for 15 minutes we waited. I wasn’t annoyed until the truck next to us left and all the runner brought to them was two drinks. It might not seem so drastic but they pulled up earlier and were in and out in 5 minutes. So we hit the call button which took forever and they said they were busy and would have it on the way and we decided to wait a little longer. Wrong again. So we figured we would stay and wait and then guess what, 19 minutes go by and we still haven’t received our drink which were under $4. We called again thinking that it was ridiculous and if they were even on the way and they finally replied saying “oh they’re right here”, really? They were right beside you and it took you this long to bring it to us? We ended up waiting for a total of, get this, not 25, not 30, but 37 minutes. 37 minutes to get two drinks too us. TWO DRINKS. 37 minutes of our lives, wasted. We did get the drinks for free but I just spent a ton of money so $3.87 was no issue for me. My time was wasted and that is something I will never get back all because “someone canceled on the order” even though we called a second time. Read moreOrdered ahead through the app. Simple enough. Arrived and we're served by a girl wearing hello kitty pajamas who clearly was not enthused to be serving us. We got our shakes but one of them tasted like chemicals or tasted completely rotton upon sipping from the bottom. No desert crumbles and it only tasted like cheesecake NOT banana flavored that we ordered. We called the hopper back over who was even more displeased that she had to come back over to us. Told her what was happening with the shake and she just blankly stared and replied so what? You want me to remake it? We said yes of course. She walked off and didn't even take the bad shake to throw away. Cames back. Shake tasted better but didn't have the crumbles we were supposed to have and STILL not banana flavored!
I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY ABOUT THIS. There are really no words except i hope people find this review helpful. Needless to say I won't be going back and hopefully we don't get sick! The ice cream was completely inedible and we just left we were so fed up with hello kitty pj lady. Milk bacteria is NOTHING to play around with.

Ordered a SECOND time
Got peanut butter cup blast with fresh banana pieces. They blended the banana pieces completely so I ended up with banana flavored ice-cream instead of vanilla with the peanut butter cup pieces. I believe the banana pieces should have not been blended. Ice-cream was ENTIRELY to sweet therefore disgusting. These people are not trained well or they truly do not care to do their job. Read moreThe food itself is everything you would expect from any Sonic Drive-In- when you can actually get it. The problem is that since Covid, the ownership/management has made understaffing a permanent and intentional part of the business model. The employees that are actually there seem to be working hard to try to make the restaurant run and the customers happy, however there never seem to be enough of them on the clock to actually run the place successfully. Ownership/management doesn't seem to get the message that it's too much to ask to have the same people take the orders, make the food, deliver the food, and do all the other maintenance tasks required in a successful restaurant. It always results in poor service and overly extended wait times, no matter how hard the employees on the clock try. In fact, I have abandoned my attempts to get food before placing my order twice this week, after waiting 15 minutes first time, and 10 minutes the second time. The thing is, anything that is available on the Sonic menu is available at other, competing establishments within a mile or two of this location, and with similar or better quality and value. It's not even that ownership/management can claim the local labor market is at fault, because there are so many competing restaurants nearby and in town where you can get similar, or better food, and better service.
