Starbucks — Restaurant in San Marcos

I had to buy some items at Target. I decided I would treat myself to a grande Caffe Mocha at the Starbucks inside the store at 700 Barnes, San Marcos, Tx. I always ordered them hot and without the extras like whipped cream. My coffee is just right, not too cold and not too hot. At the bottom of the cup there is a safeguard stating, " Careful the drink you are about to enjoy is extremely hot. Do not microwave. " Over on a side table are 4 shakers, cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, nutmeg, to sprinkle on the drinks. There are a variety of sugars, raw, real,Splenda, Sweet ' N Low, Equal, and Whole Earth. A pitcher of Half and Half is here also. There are wrapped straws, plastic and wood stir stickers, and paper napkins. There are also menus here in Spanish and English There's a notification about their Cold Brews mixed " with sweet flavors of cascara cold foam., a sweet syrup mixed with non fat milk and put on top. "A waste receptacle is in the middle. Drinks, hot and cold, come, hot or cold, in small, medium, and large. There are Espresso types, Frappuccino ones, Smoothies, Flavored Iced Teas , Shaken Iced Tea, Shaken Sweet Tea, Refreshers like Cool Line, Very Berry Hibiscus, Strawberry Acai, Dragon. And for adults and children, there is Hot Chocolate and Caramel Apple Spice. The preparer told me the both are here all year. And that the Caramel Apple Spice, is " very good, tastes like apple cider." On a blackboard behind the register the newest drinks are featured with a chalk drawing of them and their explanations. For example, the Dragon Drink, made with coconut milk and juices. ( $4.55) And a Mango Dragonfruit with water and juices.( $3.95 ). All drinks featured their calories. All hot drinks have a cardboard holder. In front on a revolving turn style are chips, potato, tortilla, vegetable, fruits, popcorn, coconut- sesame clusters, chocolate chunk cookies, chickpea puffs, all cheese, gluten free snacks, Peter Rabbit Organics, apple- graoe, Z Bar, Chocolate Chip, Country Archer, Turkey and Beef Jerky. One can buy packages of whole bean coffees,, instant and microground coffee, instant sweetened iced coffee packs. In front of the bar are items for sale like bottled water, 24 oz clear logo bottle for $4.00, different water bottles, pink, ( $12.95 ), blue metallic with lid and straw, (19.95, very heavy ), black vacuum insulated (19.95 ), metal, logo, ( $22.95 ). There is a covered ice cubed tray, ( 12.95 ), Underneath in a wicket basket are assorted fun themed tumblers ( $4.95 ). Over on the side are glass water bottles with straws ($14.95, heavy ), 8- cup Coffee Press, ($19.95 ), Colorful Ceramic with Texas printed on it, ($22.95), Ceramic Demitasse Texas logo with hat, boot, horseshoe, cactus, ($9.95 ), regular Ceramic Texas logo mug, with salmon interior, boot, hat, horseshoe, cow, , star, spaceship, oil rig, ($12.95 ). There is a sachtel bag, in pink, reds, blues, that can fold down into a small wallet $9,95 ). There arw Starbucks packaged goodies like dark chocolate covered Espresso Beans, Dark Chocolate Grahams, Sugar Free Peppermint Gum, Sugar Free Peppermint Mints, Biscotti, Shortbread, Gluten free Marshmallow Dream Bar, Madeleines , Packaged Almonds, Fruit Bars, Dark Chocolate- Peanut Butter Bar, Blueberry, Vanilla. Cashew Bar. In the covered showcase are the pastries, like muffins, Danish, Croissant, Brownie, Cake Pops Quick Breads. All are priced and have their calories. Below are chilled beverages, boxed apple juice, lowfat organic milk, bottled Evolution Fruit Drinks. Starbucks gives out small samples of their drinks. They sell gift cards. They accept all credit cards and cash. They have a reward program, that one can download from the app store whereby buying drinks enables the purchase amount to achieve a certain amount of stars. The employees there are so very sweet. They make it a joy to go there. Especially Haley. The iced hazelnut oatmeal shaken espresso is delightful. Honestly Starbucks has the only hazelnut syrup around that actually tastes...
