Dulzura Café — Restaurant in San Mateo

I had Cake Creations make a chocolate cake for my son's 3rd birthday.

Some pros:

1. They actually respond to emails promptly. I had trouble getting a hold of other bakeries in the area.
2. Quick turn around-- I ordered Thu night for Sat morning pickup
3. Open early! Seemed like half the bakeries nearby don't really open their doors until lunch time.
4. The cake itself was quite good. Usually cakes for kids parties are really fluffy, super sweet. This cake was denser and much less sweet. It was a cake that both the adults and kids could enjoy.

As soon as I walked out of the door I came into my car and started writing this Google review. The guy who works there is amazing. If you're lucky he will speak to you. If he doesn't speak to you come back every morning and just be cool. I got a vegan mocha it was fine it's good you can always come here for coffee.
