Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in San Pablo

Horrible service. Every single time I go to this particular Popeyes the Cashier's are rude and nasty. I actually stopped going because they were so rude about a year ago. I travel an extra 15 minutes to avoid the rudeness. They should send a secret shopper to see how disrespectful they are. The food is good because it's a chain but the service is horrible. Going the other day made me quickly remember why I stopped . I came in the dining room because there was a long line in the drive through. No one was in line at the counter I was the only patron inside. The cashier walked past me and said she would be right back 10 minutes later I said I know you guys are busy. Will it be better for me to go through the drive through? The cashier yelled at me "I just told you to hold on a minute" I advised her not to tell at me. I also apologize of she thought I was being rude..I wasn't but advised that I know she's busy and I will gladly go through the drive through. She then said what do you want? I placed my order. Then she gave me my food. I asked for some dipping sauce she threw some ketchup and hot sauce. I just looked and said forget it. I ended up getting some ranch from little Cesar's pizza. Now reading this you may say hey it's not that bad...until you hear the tones of the workers. I won't...

I came through the drive-through and they ask me to wait I did but they took so long to get back to me I came to the window they did not acknowledg me until I started asking questions then they let me know that the drive-through window was not working I said can't you just ring me up on the front register the manager said no we can't do that so I asked OK do I need to come in I went ahead and went in and the entire crew was just lifeless nobody smiles nobody seems like they want to help you and they move very slow like snails every one of them I went ahead and ordered and asked what the wait was and it was going to be 5 minutes for what I asked for I then a** could they then put the old fries back and make me new fries since my Box was sitting there waiting for the chicken to be done he gladly did it I waited so long but the service would not have been so badd if someone would have just smiled or seemed to wanna help someone will I come back no...

Pretty good for the area, but if one is looking to have some fairly good fried chicken and wonder what happen to KFC's secret recipe?, well Popeyes has it now. KFC is not like what it use to be in the 1970-80s, but Popeyes is how I do remember KFC as a kid....good fried chicken and good tasting coleslaw.

Food and customer service is good at this location, but the drive-thru seems to take some time when it is busy, and if there is more than 5 cars in the drive-thru, one will soon see how the parking lot is designed backwards, or Popeyes needs to move across the street (where Big Lots use to be).

Reason it seems to get busy (every night and on the weekends) is it is right across the street from the San Pablo Casino, and just down the road from I-80 freeway, San Pablo Dam Road off ramp.
