Jamba — Restaurant in San Rafael

The manager at this Jamba Juice is going to ruin its great reputation! My girl and I were in line to have our order taken when he decided to pass us up and help two other people. I had to voice my discontent before he decided to take my order. Then when our order was up they called out the name of someone else for my order. Once I had confirmed with the girl behind the counter, who couldn't speak, that it was in fact my order I see something black in the middle of my drink!!! I asked what it was and was told it was a piece of Kale... I have never had a piece of kale or anything else that shouldn't have been in my drink, in my drink, so this was quite a surprise. It wasn't until I asked why it was in my drink and how it got there that they offered to remake my drink. All in all, this was less than a one star visit and don't plan on any return trips here until the staff has been changed out for staff that are competent in their abilities...namely...

Shout out to Heidi for great customer service! After years of ordering the same item I can tell when the employees are not following the original recipe because the drink taste different. They are very quick, efficient, and the food/drinks are always prepared greatly. I do appreciate that the environment is thought of with their paper straws. However, paper straws just do not work with smoothies. The past several times I’ve gotten a smoothie from here, I can hardly drink it because the paper straw gets clogged or bent.
