Starbucks — Restaurant in San Rafael

This is an update to this review. The staff at Starbucks are really nice and personalbe. Have really made Amalie effort to really be as best as try can be and for the most part have won my business from Pete’s the food is better the prices are equivalent and the staff are more friendly.

All except this same guy I have had issues with before. Today this arragent snorts “employee” literally snapped st me telling me “I’ll tell you when you good is done. As he handed a woman a sandwich with cheese dripping out of the bag. The last interaction I had with him I asked the staff to put a packet of hunny in with my sandwich he put it in my drink witch I made no big deal about but still wanted hunny with my food and he blamed the cashier and acted like it was sone kind of effort to fix his mistake. It really seems to me that maybe hes Burt out and maybe needs to do so etching other than customer service fir a while if he finds serving people so unsatisfing.

Been coming here daily for a year, this aragent jerk CJ is disrespectful and questionable when it comes to his service and cash handling, didn’t even offer me the change stuck it currently in his tip jar. What’s the point of coming back to The same place day after day if I’m never going to be remember no matter how much I tip. Even this little kid making coffee drinks can’t remember me no matter how many converstaions we have. This is truely like walking into a mic Donald’s. Will be speaking to The staff I know here. Really horrible...

I want to share an unfortunate experience my sister had at your Starbucks location yesterday on August 27th, 2025, which was especially disappointing given that it was her birthday.

She ordered her favorite drink at 6:25PM and arrived at the store by 6:43 PM, only to find it closed early due to being “short-staffed”, despite the posted closing time of 7 PM. She noticed staff inside, with her drink sitting on the counter. When she knocked on the door, she was ignored, and staff refused to assist her.

Another customer arrived shortly after, and one of the employees came out to inform them that my sister’s drink was no longer available. Despite my sister's request to simply pass out her drink since it was her birthday, they continued to refuse.

My sister is a strong cancer survivor who has fought through this battle three times. Each birthday is significant for her, and it’s disheartening to see her treated this way. We hope that you can look into...

This Starbucks serves coffee and coffee related drinks in it's signature "corporate-quirky" style.

Sure, it's in very close proximity to Peet's over at the mall, but Starbucks is right here at the strip mall, literally next door to Ping's, a very adequate Chinese restaurant. So it's quite a convenient location for grabbing a cup of coffee after downing a heaping plate of Kung Pao chicken. So there's that.

Plus, during the holiday season, the Starbucks menu is aglow in red. If you like the color red you will appreciate this feature.

Like most Starbucks, the staff here are very friendly and efficient.

Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be walking by. You'll say something like, "Hey you wanna get a cup of coffee or something? There's a Starbucks right there."

And whoever you're with will be all like, "Yeah...
