Round Table Pizza – A $111.11 Lesson in “Premium” Disappointment
I placed a $111.11 order through DoorDash, and this was, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in years — especially from a place that claims they “cost more because they use premium products.” That claim couldn’t be further from the truth.
The pizza was bland, barely had any cheese, and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours.
The “fudge cookies” were dry, flavorless, and had maybe four chocolate chips in the entire batch — calling them “cookies” feels generous.
The jalapeño poppers were cold, mealy, and unappetizing.
The Caesar salad? A bowl of plain lettuce with a tiny bag of croutons tossed on top — no dressing, no effort, no care.
When I called to address the issues, it took five minutes just for someone to even locate my order. And when I asked for a refund for the missing dressing and ruined salad, I was told they “don’t do refunds” — only a gift certificate. Translation: we messed up your $111 meal, but if you want any compensation, you’ll need to gamble on us again.
If this is what Round Table considers “premium,” I’d hate to see their definition of average. Between the high price, disappointing quality, and lack of accountability, I won’t be ordering from them again — and I’d strongly recommend you...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst service and rude staff. I live close to this location. I order delivery often. In the last year I have placed close to 40 orders. Every single one of them was wrong. Wrong salad, wrong dressing, wrong wing heat level, wrong type of wing, no condiments after asking specifically for them. Even after all this and numerous complaints to the customer service for delivery, they still messed up the order. Obviously they know me by now and do it on purpose. The manager is a argumentative arrogant person. My forever last order was a medium pizza. The pizza came with 3 inches of crust and the ingredients pile in the center without the extra chicken I paid for on it. What was the point of ordering a more expensive pizza when it was smaller than the personal size for extra money? Plus, again no condiments I had asked for. I called and asked for a refund. No one ever called back or followed up. I will never order from this location again. Bummed because they actually have decent pizza unfortunately not this...
Read moreI preordered a party size pasta online early in the day. It was scheduled to be ready at 4:25. I had my infant with me and I came in to pick up the order. It wasn't ready and I had to hang out for ten minutes with my baby. My pasta was finally ready and I tell them I need a bag. The woman checking me out (who appeared to be the manager) says that a bag won't work . I explain that I can't carry my baby and a tray of hot pasta at the same time, I don't have 3 hands. She just stares at me blankly and says "a bag won't work". I ask her if someone can help me since I can't leave my baby. She says they don't have extra staff. Thankfully another customer had some basic human decency (unlike this woman) and offered to help me.
I ordered the food and prepaid for it about 5 hours in advance. It was 4:30 pm... hardly a lunch or dinner rush period and they couldn't get a basic order of pasta done on time. This place sucks even for a pizza chain! My standards are low for a chain pizza store and they didn't meet those...
