I work at the hospital in Greenbrae. We door dashed our food since it's not easy to get away. When the food came, 5 out of the 6 items were wrong. I called the restaurant and the person who answered the phone was upset that I was complaining about the food being wrong. One good thing is that he offered to remake the burritos BUT.....he hung up on me right after he said he was going to remake them. I called back saying that the call was disconnected and he said, "I already told you I was going to remake the food!" and he hung up again. Unfortunately, I had to go pick the burritos up since door dash didn't have the "redeliver" option. As difficult as it is to get away from the hospital, I went to get the burritos. I took the bag because the person who I had spoken with on the phone said they were remade and remade with him watching the crew make them. I didn't think to look at what I had picked up before leaving the restaurant. When I had returned to the hospital, I noticed that the burritos were still marked wrong. I called the restaurant back before bringing the food in. The person that I was dealing with was put on the phone again. He said that he watched them make the burritos, himself and that it's all on camera. I handed the food out to the ones that ordered them. SADLY, two burritos were still wrong. They were missing the shrimp that we had added to the burritos which were paid for. There is no possible way for me to drive back to San Rafael from the hospital a second time to get the order done correctly.

Read moreI love American Mexican food. This ain't it. I wish I'd gone next door to the Chinese buffet--that would have been better. Pro, the service was polite and cheerful, and the cheese was real and generous. Cons, the "enchilada sauce " was horrible and tasted like the inside of a tomato paste can but worse, the salad was utterly undressed baby greens with some so wilted as to be unidentifiable, and the rice and beans were without any flavor. Oh yes, the green salsa was hot but didn't have any discernible cilantro or garlic.
I hoped to enjoy the new restaurant as it's close to home and the mall was recently purchased by former colleagues I respect and of whom I'm quite fond. DISAPPOINTED.
Update: I just shared a delicious meal with a friend at the Petaluma Mi Pueblo. It was everything I wanted this one to be. So, no, Owners, my palate is not deficient. I hope for your sake and the mall's that it was just a bad day. Sadly, it was so bad that I'm not moved to buy...
