Roadside BBQ — Restaurant in San Rafael

The employees dont want to take any orders or serve any food. I called the restrant ar 7:30 pm to place an order. The man that answered acted like he could not hear me. I called back at 7:35 pm. The same man answered. Again he acted like there was a phone connection problem. I then called a few other places just to make sure my phone was working. It was. So I called the restaurant again at now 7:40. Again the man acted like there was a connection problem. This time though he forgot to disconnect the phone line and I could hear him talking amongst his fellow co-workers. I could hear him laughing about not wanting to take my order. I was already in the car on my way to the restaurant so I decided to just go in person. I arrived to see that the establishment was a lit up with open signs and the front door was wide open. I entered only to be told that they were closed. I guess my money isn't good enough for...

Even while staving on a cold rainy Sunday night I could find any comfort at this eating establishment. I'll cut to the chase. The meat made me so sad. I didn't know meat could be sliced so thin. I received 7 slices and I'd guess them to be about 1/32 of an inch thick. I've actually had beef brisket in Texas and Missouri and they would laugh if they ever saw this excuse of a brisket plate. Just made me want to cry a little. Oh and there are no condiments on the table and the chef/cook/whatever squirts about 1.17 ounces of BBQ on your brisket for you. Just more tears at this point. For the sides I order the Mac and cheese and beans. The beans were decent. The Mac and cheese was the most strange Mac and cheese I had ever experienced. I walked out about $30.00 poorer and will never go back.

I'd give anything to see Chef Ramsey or a self respecting southerner go...

Hands down the worst bbq I've ever had nothing was seasoned and nothing was authentic the Mac and cheese the worst the garlic fries terrible please done even bother trying the greens it was more like flavorless kale even the meat wasn't good I had to put a lot of bbq sauce on it just to give it a little flavor and let not start with the corn muffins didn't have much flavor either I would rather buy jiffy I've been to a lot of bbq places and this one was hands down the worst tastings I hope they get new recipes otherwise I will never go back I even had to poor out their sweet tea I would rather have water just terrible food and service I asked if they could turn up the foot ball game they said no smh..... So I can watch it but not hear it they don't have a good wine or beer selection either everything is...
