Ordered take out order online. Was the most frustrating, irritating experience I have ever had. Took better than a half-hour to place it. It kept saying my credit cards were invalid for several off the wall ridiculous reasons. And that was just the beginning. I got there 5 minutes late of when my order was supposed to be ready. Had to wait over 15 minutes to get my order than I made the mistake of asking for extra catsup and mustard. This took another 5 to 10 minutes. By the time I get this iam completely fed up. So I leave not realizing that they didn't give me my drinks. I was to feed up to turn around and go back by the time i realized it. I finally returned home to find that they hadn't put the lid on the catsup tight and it had come off and there was catsup all over everything. It gets worse. Everything was cold and nasty. The french fries tasted like they were laying there for hours. The turkey club sandwich was the grosses thing you have ever seen or tasted. The bacon that was on it was completely raw. We had the club sandwich a very nasty tasting hamburger and simple Mac n cheese. By far the worst food I can remember getting anywhere! And they weren't even that busy. Read moreMy experience at Black Bear Diner was extremely disappointing and frustrating. We arrived at 9 PM, well before closing, but were immediately told to order quickly because the kitchen would be closing in 20 minutes. From the moment we sat down, everything felt rushed and uncomfortable. As someone who has worked in the food industry, I was shocked by how poorly we were treated. Typically, customers are served until the very last minute, but that wasn't the case here.
The manager on duty, Julio, was particularly unfriendly and made condescending remarks throughout our visit. He created a tense atmosphere that made the entire experience unpleasant. When it came time to pay, we were mistakenly charged for two orders of fries, even though we only ordered one. Julio informed us that he removed both charges, including the one for the fries we actually did order. However, when he handed us our change, it was given in a strange manner, and we later discovered we were short $20. When we confronted him, he insisted we were wrong. Eventually, we did get our money back, but it was an awful experience overall.

Shame on them for not acknowledging their predicament and pacing the flow better. We waited at every stage. The server was clearly distracted and had to be told repeatedly what our orders were. Then the food came, clearly the Turkey plate and lettuce wrap burger were waiting for the breakfast dish because it was hot and the former dishes were cold and luke warm. We sent the Turkey back because the gravy was COLD and the mashed potatoes were barely warm. The guy came back to the table to say they were making a new dish. 3 or 4 minutes later our server returned with the same dish we sent back. Unchanged. Still cold...er colder..... At that point I asked for the salad that still hadn't arrived that came with my luke warm burger.... We told her to keep theTurkey, and take it off the bill. The kicker, not a sorry or we are having a bad night or and any acknowledgement of a sub par performance.... Then.... yep more.... I put my credit card out with the bill and she ignores it.
