This place is an absolute gem! From the moment you step through the doors, it's like being teleported to a sports fan's dreamland. This is exactly what downtown Sandusky has needed! It is an awesome place ran by great people. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming by both its style and staff. Every time we’ve gone in, it seems like everyone is having fun and laughing. This fun and inviting energy that hits you right when you walk in the door is not something you get with most bars. With most food serving places closing early (9/10) on weekends. It’s very cool that Clubhouse No. 3 not only allows, but encourages you to bring in takeout from the surrounding restaurants and food trucks to enjoy in the comfort of their establishment, possibly with one of their many cold drafts! My personal favorite features of Clubhouse No. 3 are the pinball machines, giant jenga(s) and the fact that they have Alaskan Brewing Co.’s Amber beer. I called ahead to ask if I could use a Groupon on a different day than specified. The employee told me, “we’re not busy at all, but we still can’t let you use that Groupon.” Honestly, that’s a pretty disappointing response. It would have taken almost no effort to let my kids enjoy an hour on the interactive screens, and we would have happily spent more money on food and drinks.

Instead, the rigid and short-sighted decision cost them a repeat customer. This kind of policy feels greedy and unwelcoming. Rather than creating goodwill and loyalty, they pushed us away for good.
