When I tell you that this is the best pizza I’ve had outside of the New York area, that is the best compliment I can give to pizza. Ask anyone who has relocated from that area what they miss the most, and 8 out of 10 people will tell you they miss “real pizza.” Congratulations to Archie’s Pizza for hitting the bull’s eye. The pizza is beyond great. It’s made right in front of you, if you choose to sit at the counter area. There is a table-seating area as well as takeout. The pizza is baked to perfection and when it hits your mouth, you know you made a great decision. The owners took a gamble by making a St. Louis-style pizza, but it has paid off for consumers. Not only is it a delicious pizza, but it’s so distinct that you’ll know exactly what pizzeria it came from. This also helps the shop to stand out among the downtown eateries.
Additionally, the décor helps Archie’s to pop since it is centered around St. Louis instead of Cleveland or Ohio. The chairs are comfy for watching a game on the big screens or for chatting up a fellow diner.
I had the opportunity to speak with the one of the owners, Jeremy, for a while. He’s incredibly personable and a great conversationalist. He knows his pizza, he knows his town, and he knows how to treat customers well.
Archie’s Pizza also has a food truck. So if you can’t get to the brick-and-mortar shop, you may come across it at events at Jackson Street Pier or beyond. Archie’s Pizza comes highly recommended for dining in, takeout, or...
Read moreTook the family into Archie’s at Clubhouse No. 3 tonight. We chose Archie’s because we wanted to support a wonderful family taking a chance and making an investment into our small town. We’ve had it on their truck before but wanted to show some love at the new brick and mortar.
Plenty of parking. Easy access. Plenty of room inside. Super cool ambiance. Comfortable. I’m remodeling a building myself and left with a bunch of notes to make my place as cozy.
Anyways—we ordered a large cheese for the kids and a large Great One. The pizza was great! Made fresh for our order. Love that someone took a chance to do something different. So much of the same pizza in Sandusky. It was nice to try something different. My favorite part was the cracker like crust and semi-sweet sauce. The cheese is provel. Creamy with a wonderfully unique flavor profile. Toppings on The Great One were plentiful and flavorful. I especially liked how the pepperoni crisped up and the flavor in the sausage. We left full and with half the pizza in each box. Even took the left overs to my staff to finish off. I told ‘em, “One bite. Everyone knows the rules.” 🙂
Thank you for taking a chance on Sandusky. Wishing you the best. 🥰

Read moreArchie's took me home to St.Louis! What a fun place with summer yummy food. I love st.louis style pizza so this is thee best pizza Ohio can offer. I-270 pizza option on this creative menu (which pays homage to the interstate in St.louis) so delicious! The I-270 pizza option has a pinch of hot sauce, pickles, bacon, and the cheese is 🔥
The toasted ravioli is So St.Louis! The restaurant atmosphere is cozy and had the arch on the wall, adding more of that Midwestern swing-St.Louis culture!
It is a real chill environment, my husband and I had so much fun! The owner is so laid back and cool as a fan, he is relatable and will make sure you understand the menu if you are not from the 314!! We were so happy to find this joint! It is definitely bringing flavor to Sandusky (though we came from West Akron) it was worth it! We took home a sausage and pepperoni pizza to go and we can also share it's so good even after the experience (typical for st.louis styled pizza) which you can only find at Archie's!
If you're visiting cedar point you would definitely want to try this place, fun restaurant and super-friendly owner!
