Sweet Cheekz Cafe N Bistro — Restaurant in Sandusky

I’m a new customer at Sweet Cheekz Cafe and absolutely love it. Im a sandusky local and i feel that this business adds a fun but relaxed vibe to the downtown. There hasn’t been a place like it! Let’s go through some of my LOVES of this place. 1: The Staff! you will never be left dissatisfied at Sweet Cheekz, Tiffany and the baristas love to chat with you and make sure you find the perfect drink for you. They go above and beyond to please you! 2: The atmosphere! Instagram post worthy environment. The vibe is mixture of Fun, Bright and glitter while also keeping a classy and relaxing energy that coffee shop enjoyers love. 3rd and most importantly: The coffee product itself. The menu offers Hot or Iced beverages with multiple dairy choices. They offer the largest coffee menu I have seen, ranging from simple cappuccinos and mochas to fun themed beverages packed with unique flavor combinations. The coffee served is on the sweeter side, so if you prefer a more stronger coffee taste, i’d suggest requesting that to the baristas!

My personal fave is “The Grinch” Served hot. It’s Chocolate powder and Crème de Menthe with a cold foam on top. It’s the perfect mixture of sweet and flavorful while still having the coffee kick to it!

Do I have any critiques? No, not really! The business is new and is improving fast! Making changes and upgrades to the interior all the time. They have specials as well which keeps the customer excited. All i would say, which isn’t actually a critique, i’d love to see a cute sofa at some point or maybe some photo op decor. Teens love taking photos with posing with their coffee and posting it. i’d love see a cute photo op section:) The vibes of the shop just scream “i need to take picture here!!”

What an adorable shop! The food and drinks are outstanding! The staff is amazing!

Starting with the décor: the bistro is very much a haven for fans of pink, floof, flowers, and quirkiness. The floors, walls, and ceiling are decorated in such a fun and vibrant way. The menu screen has a rotating montage of photos of cartoon-style café foods in silly scenes.

The larger area behind the bistro has nice seating, a bar, and an event room (birthdays, anniversaries, etc). All decorated wonderfully and on-brand. There’s a fireplace, but it’s summer so check a wintertime review for that. We’re not done! There is covered seating out front, too. Wicker loveseats and chairs so you can enjoy the fresh air while you enjoy the outstanding food.

Speaking of the food: truly enjoyable. There are dozens of café drinks to choose from and breakfast sandwiches are available until 11am. They’re made from scratch and are divine. The menu is on the wall so you can make a choice before getting to the counter. The names range from silly to dirty, but all the drinks have their ingredients listed so you know what you’re getting into.

Big kudos to the staff. They were all so nice and professional. The place was packed but the staff didn’t panic or stress. They did their jobs with smiles and poise. When it got close to 11am, they even took breakfast sandwich orders from people waiting in line (instead of turning them away). That was a classy move that you don’t see often.
