Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Sandusky

These people don't take the necessary steps give sanitary service. I stopped in to Marco's pizza on E. Perkins Ave and ordered a simple cheesey bread to go. I watched both the guys working not wash their hands once. So the guy who took my order took my money and gave me my change. Then went and started my order w/out washing his hands. That's gross bruh! 🤮 I shouldn't have taken my chances like that, but I was hungry. That *hit got me sick to my stomach, and couldn't get off the toilet. I wish I'd have just addressed the issue, and just asked for my money back. 10/19/24 3:00pm I know if it was me working food service for the public, my conscience wouldn't allow me to be unsanitary and take a chance on getting someone sick. I'd be washing my hands on the regular. Oh yeah the other guy working picked up the cheese that fell onto the make table and just threw it back in the rest of the cheese. And no, I didn't see them wipe the counter either.🤮 Smh 🤦🏼‍♂️ 🙄 p.s. Well my symptoms continued to get worse. I got a bad headache and was sweating bad w/the chills. I felt so awful, all I could do was to pray it went away. It really scared me enough to think I needed help. So I tried to compose myself enough to drive to the ER at firelands hospital. They gave me some nausea medicine and something for my headache. They ran some blood work and made me drink some fluids. Thank God I started to feel better. But I can honestly say something told me not to eat that food. And I did it anyway. And it turned out to be a very traumatic experience. Bcuz I didn't know what to do. And I was just trying to hang on. I mean I've heard people have died from bacteria exposure. And like I said I felt so distraught, it was scary. I wouldn't want my worst enemy to go through that experience. I forgive you folks at Marcos. But I ask you to please keep your customers in mind. And lead by example and get back in the habit of washing your hands and keeping your food prep areas sanitized properly. I've worked in a lot of food service, in my time. And I always kept my hands washed and my area wiped down clean and sanitized. I mean come on, think about what Covid-19 has drastically changed the world. All bcuz our govt is completely rogue and want to control our elections and everything we do. And they want to call us domestic terrorists. That's the pot calling the kettle black....

Oh my goodness I just can't believe the leadership of management to run a place like this . Call ordered a pizza told them the address deepwater Marina.. we will be at the pavilion there's only one pavilion. They never showed up a lady evidently said that she came. The problem is the driver doesn't speak any English. Why would you send somebody out in America that doesn't speak any English and can't follow directions because they don't understand the directions. This was mind-boggling I called they said they was going to try to make it right I was so disgusted with the poor leadership of management that would send someone that can't speak any English . To go deliver pizza and deal with the customers. After that I couldn't imagine the quality of the pizza .. so I ended up going and getting some chicken at Cane's. But I was wanting pizza and I didn't want to drive anywhere. Cuz I was working on my boat. Shouldn't have to deal with these kind of situations. ... You can't send people out that don't speak English and don't know directions to deliver pizza.. how can you explain something to someone that doesn't...

I called two hours before closing, placed a delivery and gave them the address of the hotel I was staying at. The gentleman said it would be 45 minutes. My family and I waited an hour and a half for the pizza before I recalled and some girl answered and we asked the status of our pizza the girl said "it's on its way" and hung up on me. Didn't ask the name or number, just hung up. Then after another 20 minutes they call us saying they don't deliver to us and just now looked at our order, so I asked will my card still be charged and the girl said "I don't know". I asked to speak to a manager and another girl came to the phone and said "we just looked at your order, we don't deliver there" and hung up. We called one last time to get the managers name and a nicer girl answered and informed us that there were no female managers in tonight, Only one male. So we spoke to the manager Timothy and he was very nice and helpful but we still never found out what worker pretended to be a manager and was so incredibly rude to us. Over all 2/3 workers we spoke to were absolutely rude and disrespectful and one even...
