Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Upon entering the resort, check in went fine. But I was in need of ice because I had been in a car accident 2 days prior. I asked an employee where I could find an ice machine and he said it could be quite a walk. He was a Perkins employee, and offered to get me ice from there instead. JavaOne was wonderful with assisting when he didn't have to, very attentive to guest needs, and it was so appreciated. Michelle, the manager came out to see how I was doing, and I complimented Navones guest care. I asked if I could break a 20.00 to tip Navone. Normally this isn't allowed, but after Michelle understood I had been in a car accident while vacationing for our 30th wedding anniversary, and just how much I appreciated the assistants, she allowed it. And Michelle complimented ME for being an appreciative person.. Pro staff all the way around!! The company is lucky to have them!!! I was lucky to have them around for certain.. Thanks again Navone!! The ice really helped soothe some terribly hurting parts! You Rock!
