The food here was excellent, and service was friendly. Atmosphere was nice, lighting was not too bright and not too dim. I enjoyed my experience here and will definitely return if I'm ever back in Atlanta
Edit: Also to the woman who left a negative review because they told her her daughter can't bring milk in to the restaurant. This is a kosher restaurant that serves the Jewish community! Non Jews are more than welcome at our restaurants, but if you don't respect our dietary laws why would you even come here? We cannot have milk in the restaurant because it serves meat and we cannot risk cross contamination. Maybe you should stick to non-kosher restaurants instead of complaining about other people's cultures and religions!
Also, to the ignorant people complaining about the 20% gratuity; again, you folks clearly do not understand that this is a kosher restaurant. You do not understand the costs of operating a kosher restaurant, the lost time and revenue due to observance of religious holidays, the added expenses of sourcing kosher ingredients. If everyone was more charitable and understanding, it wouldn't be necessary, but because people are greedy and ignorant, they do what they can to survive. The jewish community depends on these restaurants for food, and if they did not charge this gratuity they would go out of business. Please do not make ignorant remarks when you do not know anything about kosher restaurants or the challenges faced by the Jewish...
Read moreDon’t waste your time or your money eating at this restaurant. It is overpriced and underwhelming. I’ve given it two chances as . Both times I was highly disappointed in the food and the service. The first time I got the beef pastelito which is nothing more than a beef patty with hard crust and bland meat. Today I got the Pollo tenders and fries. The chicken was anything but tender. I almost chipped a tooth biting into one they were so hard. To make matters worse when you scan the barcode in the restaurant to look at the menu the price came up as $11, however, in the system they charge $13! I was told that’s because the barcode menu hasn’t been updated. If that’s the case why not give me the lower price of the two. The last straw was for the second time did they not include any napkins or utensils in the bag, not to mention when I asked for barbecue sauce they told me I had to pay an extra one dollar yet they can put honey mustard or whatever the sauce was in the cup in with the order. They could’ve just swapped the two and not charge me any extra or better yet why not ask me what was my choice of sauce. This place is a rip off and they will never get another dime...
Read moreI was disappointed today and made to be an outlaw for bringing my yeti cup into the restaurant. When I requested to have my cold coffee in their cup warmed, the request was followed by a visit from the manager asking what was in my yeti. I replied nothing and she left without explanation for the question but I was never brought coffee. So I sat through the meal watching my wife and neighbors receive refills but, being an outlaw for an empty yeti cup, was ignored time and again. I regret the visit and wish I had not paid to be "outlawed". The food was fine but the characterization made for a poor experience. At the end of the meal, I asked for an explanation and was told that their coffee does not get cold because it is in a thermos and that they did not know I needed a warm-up. And so, this was a lack of attention to the client coupled with an implied accusation regarding the yeti. Normally, I never write negative reviews but today's poor experience followed a simple drink order request being ignored yesterday at another restaurant that also did not have a busy waitress. A busy waitress is understandable but a lack of attention is...
