I have never left a review before but after tasting this, I felt compelled to do so. I got the lactose free cake batter and white chocolate with cookie dough and Reeseās in a waffle bowl and a red velvet cookie on the side just to try. The texture of the ice cream was weird, like a really melty slime like consistency. I knew that white chocolate might be a mild flavor so I paired it with the cake batter. I tasted neither- like it didnāt even have a faint vanilla taste to it. And as far as my toppings, I donāt know if they only is Reeseās left or just didnāt care about my cookie dough pieces but I tasted like they put a serving and a half of Reeseās peanut butter cups instead of one of each. I was really disappointed by that because it really wanted those in there. And the waffle bowl was paper thin, wouldnāt even constitute it as a bowl, more like a decoration. Lastly, that darn cookie. If youāre thinking about giving the red velvet cookie a try- donāt. I know itās partially on me sense red velvet isnāt a flavor that can be done well by everyone, but the flavor wasnāt as off putting as the texture. It was dry and crumbly and a pathetic attempt at a cookie in general. I tried to put the crumbly aspect of that cookie to good use and add it to my Icecream but the only thing that would have saved that was to have not gotten it at all. There regular ice cream may taste okay but donāt get the lactose free. Before going in I wanted to try the almond milk one on a second visit (sense they didnāt have it today) but I will never be coming back and I donāt recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a self established food critique who loves to shout out stellar businesses that BRING IT with top shelf customer service, cuisine, desserts & beverages, I was elated to try Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream. Having a medical background, science intrigues me. My companion's ice cream not only tasted delectable but the presentation deserved a standing ovation. The manager (Tonya) mixed the ingredients thoroughly, incorporated the nitrogen & the rest was pure bliss at sight & satisfied the taste buds. Initially when it came to my ice cream, the result was the complete opposite due to a new employee in training. The ingredients weren't thoroughly mixed as previously. I became a dejected soul, pouting in disappointment. Those sentiments were short lived because Tonya offered to remake my ice cream & still treated me w/ substantial custumer service. I compose reviews that are 1000% authentic, telling all. Everyone, including the new employee, were absolutely professional, pleasant & welcoming. I give Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream FIVE glamorous stars & look forward to my next visit. GO SCOPE SUB ZERO NITROGEN ICE CREAM near...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time ever having nitrogen ice cream. We generally went with their recommendations and they were spot on for each of our favor profiles. Sauce is complimentary. I got the mocha madness and regretted not getting a large over a regular. Everyone else regretted not getting a regular over the small. I indeed went mad over it. It was so cool watching the process of this being made. The combo of heath and almond flakes were amazing inside the ice cream - plus Nutella drizzle - I'd totally get the same combo again.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We are from out of town (New York) on business. I can't count the times I've called a place to confirm they'd be open only to have them close the doors right on me waaay in advance of their closing time. I called this location and let them know we are out of town, on our way, but may or may not make it for closing due to an accident on the highway. Their response? "What is your name, sir?". I knew immediately they would wait even past closing (we came . I'll never forget that, it's a first, and they really made our experience...
