Panda Express — Restaurant in Sandy Springs

Piss poor Panda Express location. The food is ALWAYS cold and OLD here. You literally have to request for the workers to cook fresh food at this location. Not only that, none of the workers speak or understand English at all. I tried to pay with a gift card last night that would not swipe for whatever reason so the cashier tried typing it in. She didn’t understand any of the numbers on the card so instead of asking for help she kept typing the numbers in wrong. Then, she and another employee lied to me and tried to tell me their gift card machine didn’t work. I asked for a manager and they lied to my face again and told me that a manager does not work at that location. After waiting in line for over 20 minutes, waiting on the employee to figure it out and and go back and forth with her co-workers in Spanish, I told her I could just call the number on the card out to her. After I did that, the transaction FINALLY went through. Why are people working a register who don’t understand how to input numbers into the system?? I left pissed and annoyed because my food got crazy cold waiting on her to figure out her job and also why is there not a manager on site to help customers and employees with issues like this? Why are employees lying to customer about management not being there and about their machines not working? Obviously the machine does work but the lazy employees just didn’t know what they were doing and were trying to rush me out the door without taking the time to correctly put my card information in. I’ll never step foot back in this place again. The food was cold and nasty by the time I got home. The noodles tasted old, dry and stale and had no seasoning. All 3 meats were covered in soo much sweet sauce that it all tasted the same and tasted fake and nasty. 0/10. Do NOT...

It's your typical Panda Express two notable things: on the positive, there is outdoor seating in lots of indoor seating. On the negative, the layout of the restaurant is not conducive to the lunch rush. For example, the place where you order is literally four steps from the front door. So after about 3 or 4 customers there is a line coming out of the door. Perhaps this is a good marketing ploy I don't know.

The food was consistent with the other Panda expresses. The place was clean. The staff were busy when I got there.

Unfortunately they didn't have Coke. Zero. Parking is a bit sparse during lunch rush as well.

Update 06/08/25 They've gone downhill. The last 2 times I have gone here were absolutely abysmal. The portions were smaller than they ever have been and instead of giving me my beef and broccoli that I ordered, I just got a pint of broccoli in some beef juice. The employees seem to have changed too, not very friendly or welcoming. I won't drop down to a 1 star cause I have hope it will go back but yeah. Really bad service and food these past few times.

I've been to a few different Panda Express locations but this one is by far the best! The service is amazing, employees are always so friendly and they definitely load up your protein!! 😜 Got one of their specialty drinks, peach lychee refresher and it hit the spot! Don't have enough good things to say about this store. 10/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

UPDATE 03/24/25: Still go here all the time. 😂 Friend and I split a plate for lunch and they always pack it on! Service is amazing and the employees are always super friendly and welcoming! Best Panda Express in...
