Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Sandy Township

Have frequently been to the 2 State College locations when we lived out that area, never had any issues, sandwiches always perfect, service always perfect, spent all day in Danville for my husband's kidney transplant renewal, decided to try out this new Dubois location since it's closer to home since we moved to this area last year. ordered a giant tuna and a gaint BLT, the 2nd person on the other side making the sandwiches, I asked for mayo on both sides of the roll, he started putting down the bacon, had to stop him so I could get the mayo, then after he mayo'ed both sides, he proceeded to put down a few thin strips of bacon (4-6), like seriously. I said that's not right, I said the other 2 locations aren't cheap with the bacon, he says that's all we're allowed to put and if I wanted more I'd have to pay extra, really !?! I was getting pretty upset, he proceeded to pile on the lettuce, had to tell him, 'lite lettuce', then he went to put the top roll on, without the tomatoes, it's a BLT, a simple sandwich. Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato. add mayo to both sides of the roll, how difficult can it be? , he did add more bacon, but serious I'm not paying $16 for a salad on a giant sub roll ! I really can not recommend this location, maybe later, but if they want to cheapen the sandwich, fine, then cheapen the cost. If the kid lacked training, then I suggest more training. Cause if I want a skimpy sandwich, I can goto Subway. Get on the ball JM's, this was ridiculous. We go to State College often for my husband's Dr's appointments, will make a point of stopping at the Atherton location next time we're craving...

Just went here for the first time, I can honestly say I have never been more excited for a sub then the one I got today, I got their chicken bacon ranch sub and let me tell you. 100/10 would order again the chicken is cooked on a flat top, the meat is the so juicy and tender, the cheese they used was melted perfectly, it was like every bite of chicken was perfectly covered with cheese and ranch. The lettuce is crispy even after being put on a hot sandwich.

The Resturant is super clean and so nicely organized. The bathrooms are super clean too like you could eat off the floor in there it's so clean.

The employees are super excited and happy, the manager popped in with fresh rolls when they were done and filling their bread rack, it was amazing. They had one person running the flat top. One taking orders and freshly slicing lunch meats and cheese, then one adding the fixings one wrapping and one ringing. It was the epitome of a well...

My $11 lunch turned into $14 just because I agreed to have some cheese put on my tuna sandwich. The question was asked do you want cheese and I said sure well there’s an extra charge for cheese on tuna and that’s not posted anywhere… kind of sneaky. It’s not the three extra bucks. It’s the principle of the thing. I would think in fairness to the customer that all of these little extra charges should be posted.. the crew seemed kind of snooty to when I challenged the additional charge that I did not suspect.
