DuBois Corner Cafe — Restaurant in Sandy Township

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! We have never had a bad experience yet. The food has been amazing each & every time. The wait staff has always been kind & very eager to wait on you, ask how things were, if they can get you anything else. We have gone in the middle of the day & close to closing time & nothing about the service or food has changed! It's been amazing! They have daily specials & their menu isnt real big but as you can see in the pictures that their serving sizes are huge! It's well priced & everything is made fresh when you order, so it does take alittle while to get your meal but order the pizza bread appetizer while you wait, its delicious! I'm not a fan of the bubble tea but they serve that there too along with numerous desserts. I highly recommend them! And plz, tip both the waitress & cook (we always leave extra for the cook, hes amazing & theres been times he will come ask how everything is & even take our order) Wings were garlic parmesan...cooked perfect...crispy, juicy, lots of flavor.. Chicken taco salad...the edible shell was delicious....mine was kinda plain as I dont like alot of stuff on mine...i would have liked the chicken to have been seasoned, it was just plain but it was good once i used the ranch Chicken & biscuit sandwich....the biscuit is so soft & buttery....the chicken was crispy but not over cooked or dry & it was huge! Definitely get the mayo/mustard sauce, it was really good Pepperoni roll appetizer...pretty self explanatory...kinda like a stromboli fried dough with pepperoni & cheese...the menu says it's supposed to have banana peppers in it...but it's never had any so idk if it was a typo or they dont make it like that anymore but either way...its really good & theres about 6-8 slices (I took the pic after we ate some) Chicken salad...you pick the wing sauce you want on the chicken...I did mild...chicken is really good...everything is cut so fancy lol the salad is huge! I had a couple slices of the pepperoni roll & had a few bites of my salad & was stuffed...and the salad still filled my take home container....that bread is to die for! Omgosh it's...

Went there for lunch today and I know they are under staffed And probably over worked but I didn't not appreciate the looks and eye rolling I got with zero to no communication from the waitress when paying no sorry for the inconvenience or nothing

The issue

got my soup in a timely manner which was appreciated but when I got my soup it was cold and when I mean cold I mean I could have stay at home and ate soup straight from a can instead and an example my cheese that came on top wasn't even melted at all and which I ordered bread stick for the soup at the same time and never received them because by the time my family was done eating and waited pretty much the whole time we were there I went to pay they told me they were just putting them in the ovan and at that point not being mean but if you order food together don't you think you might want them together? I didn't pay for the soup or the bread sticks but the lack of customer service is the key here if they would have apologized for the bad service I would have paid for the cold soup and chalked it up to just a bad visit but after all this I don't think we will be returning which is sad we all were very excited to try the food from here because we heard nothing but good this but we didn't experience any of that at our visit.

And I have worked in both food service and in retail so I know that sometimes things fall through the cracks but customer service...

This hidden gem is tucked away at the corner entrance of the DuBois Mall on the corner of the building that JC Penney is in. There is not currently a sign above it but they do have their own entrance or you can get to them from inside of the mall.

The restaurant and restrooms were very clean and well decorated, and the staff and management are kind, attentive, and efficient. The food was delicious and the servings were big.

We’re thrilled to have a new good option in DuBois for when we don’t feel like cooking, especially one that is open for dinner hours. Our only regret is not...
