McDonald's — Restaurant in Sandy

The staff, especially the top dog manager lady is super rude and very unprofessional. I understand that the store has a problem with homeless individuals coming in and loitering and not buying anything, also I understand this store had a problem with drug use in the bathroom. Which brings me to my giving it a 1-start review..... last time I was there I "PURCHASED" a coffee and i emphasize purchase because that makes me a paying customer. So in order to use the restroom at this store you have to be a partying customer and they unlock the door if needed, while i was sitting there reading the news on my phone enjoying my coffee another customer proceeded to gaijin access to the restroom and without really thinking this was a big deal i walked into the restroom behind this gentleman and went to the stall and proceeded with my business. Fit some reason the guy whom I followed into the restroom seemed to think that i want allowed in there and took it upon himself to go and literally tattletale to said top dog managerwho them proceeded to walk into the "men's" restroom and start threatening to call the police on me. At this point i have only been in the restroom stall for 3 maybe 4 minutes as she told me that i had been in the bathtoom for half an hour. I hadnt even been in the restraunt for 15 minutes yet but somehow i had been using the restroom for 30 minutes. I plead my case and try to explain to her but she want having any of it as she basically called me a liar and accusing me of using drugs in there. She didnt give me anytime to try finish or even clean up as she threatened me with the police. Like I said earlier in this review, I understand you have problems with homeless. And i have heard her numerous times threatening other "people" with the police. In fact one ghy came back in from going through the drive through because they had messed up his order, he was not rude or causing a scene or anything and because he went in there and said you guys messed up on my order, sais top dog manager told him to get out of the store right now. I have never seen any person in her position be so rude and inconsiderate to paying customers. I will not go there anymore and will try my damnedest not to let anybody I know go to that McDonald's. What a joke! Usually I like McDonald's. I think the food is good for the price and convenient and fast. However, the last couple of times I've visited this location, it has been horrible to say the least. I wont bore you with too many details about the last 2 times prior to today but today is fair game.

First of all, In case you didn't know, all their prices went up except the dollar menu. I guess that's not a big deal but now you can't get a double cheeseburger and a large fry for under $5 anymore. STUPID! That's exactly what I ordered. What i got was a whole different story.

My fires came soggy greasy and on the border of cold and warm. I tasted one and i would rather drink salty swamp water then to eat that again.The fries are supposed to be hot, delicious, crispy and on the verge of illegal (from the addictive properties) not taste like Schreks butt crack!

The burger is supposed to be a delicious, cheesy, delicious bite of happiness every time. IT WASN"T . I think it could have been classified as a dangerous weapon if you through it at some unsuspecting soul. It was hard as a rock and cold on the inside. Discusting

I took back said food (even though i don't feel like it should be called food) and asked for my money back. The person at the counter looked shocked but not in the way i was. They couldn't believe I was bring food back that she said "why" as if nothing was wrong. I was in the drive thru and I ordered an large caramel iced coffee and I told them to charge me for a lot of extra caramel which they did but when I received my drink it had maybe 2 shots of caramel when they charged me for 10. I went back around and explained to the drive thru that I wasn’t satisfied with my coffee and before I could tell them that I wanted it fixed the drive thru person got defensive and rude with me and told me they added the 10 shots. It turned into an argument when they should have just apologized and said they would fix it but no I had to ask for the manager. When I got to the window I explained to the manager the situation and without a word she handed me the bottle of caramel to add more which if I’m not mistaken is a health code violation especially because of COVID 19. I declined and told her that I no longer wanted it And I just wanted a refund and that I was willing to give the coffee back and to my surprise she gave me attitude as well and she aggressively half yelled at me that she needs my card and receipt and said fine whatever as she walked away. Once my refund was processed she gave me my receipt and card back without looking at me or saying a word and walked off with pure attitude. I was pretty annoyed and upset when I left and I later found that they barely gave me napkins and no sauce for my breakfast burrito. I will never come back to this location.
