Very funny comment...but not as funny is how much the restaurant changed in 2022. Not sure if there was a change in ownership but I miss the good old days.

Felt that the original concept of quality mountain comfort food, appreciative mom and pop service and homey atmosphere a gem...an escape from the norm. Honestly felt like a home coming when ever my family and I would frequent Mt Hood / Government Camp ...that version of the restaurant was really something special to us.

Hopeful to see if some of the original charm has returned under its new 2023 ownership. Happy to see that the pear gargrnzola pizza has returned to the menu. Looking forward to the change and will be updating review next time we are at government camp.

Original review 2022: Miss representation.. Not sure why the link to Glacier Haus is still linked to this new establishment Glacier Public House. Family check web to see if Glacier Haus was open and search page said yes. We were looking forward to thier charcutery board and pear gargrnzola pizza. Got to restaurant and it is now a burger joint. Perhaps it is time to update search page so people are...

Do Not Go Here! The food is ok and overpriced but service is horrible. I went 2 other days and spending over $30 each time for one person. The third time I walk in and owner says “I can’t take your order we’re too busy” then “I can get you a beer and we’ll get to you later” I wait 35 minutes with a beer at a table. Another person sits down at table next to me waitress comes by puts his order in, completely ignoring me. Three times they walk by me without a word. I walk back to counter put my order in and 10 minutes later he gets his food, I’m still waiting. I cancel order and bring up to owner I have waited 50 minutes and others who came 30 minutes later already got food. Owners response “Oh we forgot about you sorry bud” These people don’t belong in the restaurant business. The original owners knew food and service, unfortunately they sold it...

I think this restaurant and the stress of this pandemic is getting to their staff. Sending you guys some love even though your staffs attitude is questionable. My husband brought to their attention that they charged more for salads instead of having french fries in which wasn’t listed in their menu online that it was an extra charge. Honestly, for a few bucks it’s not a problem but you need to be honest on your prices. They disagreed despite us showing them their online menu (in which they encouraged us to use, mind you... less items to clean). Another waitress (not ours) was extremely unprofessional about it. She had a terrible attitude, in which I am just assuming is stress? Not sure why she had to be so nasty.

The menu is also extremely small (pizza, burger, Salads, that’s it) which kind of shocked me. But hey? The burgers were good...
