My family stopped in on a whim to try this place. The outdoor seating is wonderful. We ordered the special which was Mahi Mahi tacos with beans and rice. Our son ordered a beef and bean burrito. The service was great! The food was full of flavor and the only set back was we felt it was a little on the spicy side. Yes, I believe in spice! But I also feel like the hotness was just a little too much. We still had a great time and would consider going back and trying something different. GF options. Kids menu was great

Who would have thought that you could find an excellent Mexican restaurant in this tiny town? We stopped in after visiting Mt Hood. Well worth the wait. Excellent service, great drinks, and tasty food. This is coming from someone from El Paso. They had menu items with Hatch Chile, that's just up the road from El Paso. Anyway. The tacos and enchiladas were great, the salsa and tostadas (they call them chips) were excellent. A must stop place after a day of sight seeing or hiking.

I'm giving them a 1 because I can't give a 0. This was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. The chips are store bought and not made in house, the guacamole wasn't fresh as claimed, and we were shorted a taco. They are also charging a 20% takeout service fee that they didn't disclose up front. All together a very unpleasant experience. Edited to add: all members of my family experienced stomach cramping a few hours after eating and one had vomiting as well.

Would not recommend this restaurant for anyone with Gluten sensitivity, or really anyone who wants authentic Mexican food.

I went in for dinner last night, and asked the waitress what food is gluten free, and told her I have a gluten allergy. She said that she did not know and refer to what the menu said. According to their menu, they use an asterisk to mark which meals are gluten free. Included in what they marked as gluten free was their chips and salsa and enchilada. And it's typical for enchiladas to be gluten free.

I ordered the enchilada, and ate about half of the dish. 30 minutes later I was vomiting for several hours. The dish definitely used a flour tortilla and not a traditional masa corn tortillas. We called the restaurant and told them, and they said it could have been the chips and salsa (which are also marked as gluten free on the menu). Out of the 3 of us eating there, no one...

Came here with my family (total of 2 adults, a 12 year old, a 13 year old and two 2 year olds). They charged us a 20% gratuity without letting us know in advance. The food was bland. The chips and salsa (chips only) weren't not authentic and chips bought, and on top of it all, they were extremely stale. Not kid friendly at all. We requested drinks for the kids and they brought out glass snapple looking bottles for the 2 year olds. We then asked for kids cups, and they brought regular plastic cups for the adults. We then asked for straws and they seemed annoyed. They forgot to bring out the drink for the 12 year old, and then forgot to bring out the water requested. Just not a...

We were. Excited today to stop in after our hike for some authentic mexican food. Sadly , they were understaffed and overwhelmed at the time we were there. The food was only so so Not what We Were expecting. Probably. Won't stop by again, There are better places in government camp to eat. Also noted that the seating Consists of tall Tables with the tall seating to go With the tall tables. This type of seating is horrible For the disabled And elderly. There were a few booths to sit in, but not very comfortable. I suspect this establishment caters to a younger crowd who doesn't mind tall tables and glorified...
