I walked into to five people in line. I waited about ten mins before I was able to place my order. My total came to $12.10 I gave the cashier $20.10. The cashier gave me $7.90 I explained to her that she needed to give me $8 that I had given her a dime . She told me that she knows what I given her and that she gave me the correct change. As I kept patiently trying to explain to her, and she kept firmly disagreeing with me . the line was growing larger in the store , so I took the $7.90 and moved on with my life getting flustered over 20 cents wasn't worth my energy or ruining this young girls day over. I got my drink cup to fill up why I waited for my food. I walked over to fill it up and the drink station was a complete mess they had two of the new fancy coke cola machines there were six people at one of them and two people at the other so of coarse I went to the shorter of the two lines and when it was my turn to fill up my cup the person at the other one was an employee. Well the soda machine I was at was basically out of almost all the selection for anything that wasn't diet. I asked her if they were connected to the same thing or if I the other one would more options for me. She said that were not and that it should have more options but she was kind enough to offer to fill it up behind counter so I wouldn't have to wait again in the line knowing this I believe that she could see how messy it was out there and did nothing to clean or stock or fix the soda machines. After she filled my drink I continued waiting for; my order . The five people in front of me got their food, one man from the drive thru that came in because he revived the wrong the order and three people behind me also received their food , finally after twenty five minuets from ordering my food not walking in the resonant I received my bag of coarse I checked it to make sure that it was in-fact what I had ordered and had been waiting on.I was missing food so I alerted the staff member that I was missing stuff. He then proceed to get me what I was missing but they must of been out apologizes because I did not receive one. I then took my food and drove it across the street to have dinner with my husband unfortunately my two cheese burgers were so soggy that I was unable to eat them, my husband's warm bacon burgers were edible so he was able eat and get back to work. I searched all night trying to find an email to the store to let them know about my experience and that alone was a nightmare in itself I was able to get on and take a survey however that was limited to how much I was able to type. it also didn't ask me for any contact information so I guess I won't be getting that apologie from that either. I didn't go to wendy's expecting to eat a 5 star hamburger that Zagat wrote about, I was expecting to be able to eat it however or to at least be able to receive it in a timely manner, along with the...
Read moreI used to manage a wendy's and I personally know how nerv wrecking it can be for a new employee so I wanted to give props and a huge shout out and thank you to one of the employees at this location named Katharine she was visibility worried that she wasn't a pro after only a few days of working here for her first time but never showed how worried she's was that she was doing something to upset me. She never stopped smiling and repeating my order back to me so she could make sure she had everything correct. She wanted to get her manager because she felt like she wasn't giving me the service she deemed respectful and professional. Now I know how nail biting working at fast food can be when The world is not overly agrevated due to the pandemic and with some people unfortunately taking out their frustrations on hard workers like this girl at the store I'm sure along withall the other workers out there that are working during this pandemic at grocery stores and food establishments and trucking jobs and doctors and nurses and pharmacists and employees that stay well over past their time at work so that we can have it a little bit easier I just goes to show how showing kindness and patience to someone who is making my life a little bit easier today so to the corporate and the managers during the shift she worked tonight and the franchise that she works with you've got an amazing employee with a lot of potential on your hands with katherine I don't know her last name I didn't ask I'm pretty sure I have the right location and if not it's right off of fort Union boulevard by a Smith and Wells Fargo and a Walgreens and a Zions yeah so thank you katherine for making a not so good day and on a good note. And thank you for being patient with me and my dad's...
Read moreThis location has great service and is clean and nice. But I've never seen such tiny patties as this on a Classic Chicken sandwich. I don't care if they want to raise their price, or just sell a smaller sandwich and call it something else. But I'd rather pay more to know what I'm going to get than play roulette on whether the size of my meal is going to be satisfying. This location has now twice given me small triangular chicken that doesn't even cover the bun when I ordered the Classic Chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if this is shrinkflation by the main franchise intentionally incorporating randomly smaller chicken patties to mess with our sense of consistency, but I'm way too familiar with the large size of chicken that I used to get a couple of years back when I lived close to a certain location and regularly ate a lot of Classic Chicken sandwiches. Those former sandwiches were always similar-sized pieces of meat that either came off the bun in all directions or extended way over the edge to one side or the other (and the center was quite thick). So, whether it's a quality control thing or whether it's shrinkflation, either way, my experience of getting significantly smaller patties when I'm expecting something more substantial makes me just not...
