I normally wouldn't say anything bad about Chic Fil A as its always a treat when I go. Nevertheless, a week ago I had stopped by to reward myself with a milkshake for making it through a hellish week of engineering exams. Literally, the kids running the window who were too busy conversing with each other as if they were in school had ONE job, that job was to make sure the lid of the milkshake was completely set into place.
Well can you guess what happened in my case? After paying for the milkshake, I was handed the milkshake from the bottom in which I grabbed below the lid to set the milkshake on my lap as I drove out to the trash can up ahead in their driveway to throw away some old cups to make room to set in my milkshake. After I threw away the old cups, I grabbed the milkshake from the lid and top part and went to put it into my cup holder when the darn milkshake fell from the lid and splattered all over my new less than 30 days old 2018 Honda Accord's center console. At that point I had to scramble to clean out the sensitive buttons in the center console (as the vehicle's emergency brakes and other functioning buttons were getting soaked with milkshake in which could cause them to potentially get stuck and create a safety hazard).
Ultimately, the vehicle had to be cleaned professionally to ensure that the quality of the vehicle was upheld and that the buttons would not be faulty in the future.
At this point you may be assuming that the reason I've rated this location with 1-star was because of this incident. To that, I say 50% of it is because of that yes, but the other half was the lack of response of management to remedy the issue. I was promised that the General Manager would be contacting me regarding the issue to be able to rectify things but I NEVER was contact by such individual. To add on to the flames, when I went a couple days later to receive my refund (since I never got to enjoy the milkshake), I mentioned to the manager on hand about the General Manager never following up and she had the audacity to promise me that she would be following-up with the General Manager via their manager group message so that he or she could follow-up with me. To add even more insult to injury, I was originally given the owner's email address to reach out to her which her name is Ms. Kelly, all for the email to be given out to me incorrectly and as a result not work.
Yeah this may be a small issue to the eyes of everyone, but for me, I still stand on morals in which I'm all about principles. Whether it may be a big issue or a small one, each issue should be addressed accordingly and furthermost, the customer should not have to out of his or her way to try to rectify the issue when it is the sole duty of the manager to handle that task. At no point did the management make any efforts to go out of their way (which wouldn't have been much) to handle the issue accordingly.
For this reason after multiple attempts for them to handle the issue accordingly, I leave this one star rating as much as I would...
Read moreDo not apply to work here. It’s not worth it. The management is absolutely horrible, very petty, and immature. You’d never know it was being run by people that are supposed to be adults. They do not treat employees equally. My daughter started working there in Nov of 23 when she was 15 I will say they follow the rules for 15 year olds having to work there but that’s about the only positive. The equipment is garbage they are always having something go out fryers, heaters, iPads, headsets. There policy is no colored hair, no nose piercings, no fake nails, no necklaces, etc, but it seems that policy only applies to certain people. While I understand that Chick Fila is a Christian company you also need to evolve with the times to keep employees. My daughter was almost written up for having fake nails that were super short and a solid color and some days it was fine she had them and others it wasn’t. Same with her nose stud. She was told as long as it was a stud it was fine then the policy has been thrown in her face about it a few times. Conflicting information. Management sets you up for failure. She asked to have April 20 off blocked it out in the scheduling app but was scheduled anyway. Messaged in the same app to say she would not be in Friday and Saturday a manager messaged her directly and told her to speak with another manager Hannah about her employment on Saturday when she didn’t show up. In the Text from the “manager” (said lightly) it talked about immediate termination. So she messaged a day or two later to ask if she was fired since she was still on the schedule. She was totally ignored (this is a problem with management too total lack of communication and they do not respond if you ask a question). Today she picked up another employees shift. She messaged a head of time to make sure she was on the schedule and was told by Ashley who approved the shift that she was. She went all the way up there only to be told she was fired. The also had been unprofessionally telling other employees in front of customers about it and they were All staring at her as she walked in. All that was uncalled for. Why make her unnecessarily go up there when she asked ahead of time. Mind you there have been others that were no shows that are still employed there. There are also girls employed that have fake nails. Check out instagram and Facebook they are pictured. There are also girls with nose rings and colored hair. They sent a girl home last week because she had a bit of pink in her hair leftover from prom. In todays day when most don’t want to work why would you push out employees that do work because they have a bit of color in their hair or fake nails i understand having limits but really. Guess if you do decide to work there kiss up and be a favorite so you can do...
Read moreHello I wanted to send a message about my recent experience at this chic fil a. On Tuesday Jan 1 around 3:30, I ordered one regular deluxe sandwich with pepper Jack cheese. Once I got the order. I drove towards Walmart and after the 2nd bite..I was surprised at how spicy it was. I looked at the chicken and realized they gave me a spicy deluxe sandwich with pepper Jack cheese. I stopped eating it and turned around to take it back. I got cought up in Walmart traffic, which was frustrating..but I finally made it back to return the sanwich. I told them that I got the wrong sandwich. She took my sandwich that I took 2 bites out of...threw it away..and said she would get me another one. No apology and didnt seem to care.
I got the new sandwich. Still no apology. I took it and went to my car and started to pull out the parking lot. When I opened it..I right away realized it was again the wrong sandwich. It was a deluxe, but with American cheese..not pepper Jack like I ordered.
I took it back. The girl took it from me and said she would give me another one. Again, no apology.
A manager looked at me and kept walking. I stopped her and told her the situation and asked her if I could have a coupon or something for the inconvenience. She said no. I was very surprised and I repeated that I was given TWO wrong sandwiches and Both Times had to turn my car around and come back. She said she can't give me a coupon..but I can return the sandwich for a full refund. I told her that I don't want to return the sandwich..because I DO want it..it would just be nice to be given a little something for the trouble. (I work in customer service and I always give customers a little something when we mess up their order). While I was saying this..she walked away. I was very confused. She didnt say anything..just walked away to the back. I got my new sandwich and stood there waiting for the manager to come back. She didn't. Then as I was leaving..the girl who gave me the sanwich said a quick "sorry" . It almost seemed as if she wasn't saying sorry for the order mix up- but apologizing that I was just left standing there. I believe she knew the manager wasnt coming back.
The girl who I believe to be the manager was wearing a different shirt than everyone else. I am just baffled at this service.
The 3rd sandwich I got, was correct.
Update: I sent them a message on Facebook. They saw my message (according to fb) and...
