Where do I begin worst service worst experience worst manager on duty ever on Sunday, November 10 had been in church conferences all week long and had not been home. Finally made it home and decided my husband wanted to go to Ruby. Tuesday. Service began OK. The waitress was friendly Until my state came out well done I like medium steak so I gently politely asked her does she think this is medium and she says absolutely not I said well can you have them fix me a medium steak T-bone please she took it back. my husband is eating his food almost done, and mine comes back out this time is it comes back rare just rare. This time I get out of my seat and I asked the manager was he asked the person was he manager he said yes I’m one of the managers. I think his name was Jim. I said well can you come to my table when you get a chance I have sent back my Tbone back twice I would like for you to make sure it gets done, right. So he stated I’ll be right with you after I get done so he seated a couple of people he went and got high chairs for other children, when I thought after watching him for a couple of minutes and feeling ignored, he came over he said can I help you I said yes, sir this is the steak I approached you about And he says OK I’ll take it away and I’ll have them redo it. My husband is absolutely full and he says I’ll sit here and wait for you to eat your steak. I lost my appetite by this time, the steak never came. We waited 15 minutes. I searched for the waitress, told her that I don’t want the steak any longer and not to worry about it. I did eat a little bit of a salad, only wished I would’ve eaten more of it not knowing I wasn’t going to have my entree. The waitress gives us our bill, apologizes, never seen this assistant manager. I never got an apology. Hadn’t eaten since 7:30 that Sunday morning and it’s 5:30pm now. I was given boxes to pack up my husbands Steak and potato that he did not finish and I had to go into the bar area to ask for a bag. I haven’t had terrible horrible service like this in a long time, if you’re ever down that way in Sanford area Don’t go to that location where the waitress acts annoyed that you returned a meal that was ordered one particular way but delivered another, and a Manager so overwhelmed he doesn’t know how to multitask nor take care of his customer issues with effective communication...
Read moreToday was my father’s birthday, and my parents anniversary! For starters we were not properly greeted upon our entrance, we should have taken that into consideration and just left. We get seated at our table, and it was a consistent urgency to get our orders in and get us out the door! I frequently dine at this Ruby Tuesday as it is convenient to our home! But have yet to have an experience like I did tonight! The manager walked passed us numerous times, never greeted us once or more less looked our way! But was seemingly nice to all the other (non colored) guests, greeting them, and serving them their food from out of the kitchen. The only employee of color was the lucky person who got to serve us our food although he was not our waiter (go figure)! He was the only employee who greeted us with kindness and a smile! (I pray God moves him to a better atmosphere with better co-workers) There were other members of our church dining there as well (caucasian) they did not receive the horrible service that we did! The look of our food was not very appetizing or pleasantly aromatic!!!! We hardly saw our waitress! We were rushed to pay our bill (idk, maybe they thought we were going to run out of the door) once we paid the bill, we never saw the waitress again. No one even took the time to tell my father Happy Birthday!!! Although we received such horrible service, we were a large group, so I still left a very nice tip (why, idk!!!) The hispanic gentleman breaking down the salad bar as we were leaving was more pleasant than the floor staff, they could learn a thing or two from him!!!! As we were exiting the manager and our waitress were standing in the doorway, and turned their heads as we were approaching! SMH! Once we reached the door, we could hear them talking with other (non colored) guests and wishing them a good night 🤔 So either Jim Crow has taken over Sanford Ruby Tuesday or they have no CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS (concerning people of color)! They do not ever have to worry about my family and I ever visiting this location EVER again!!!!!!! As it seems this must have been their goal!!! That is the last $200 of my hard earned money I will spend with them!! I am a nurse and work 12hr shifts, this is the last way I would have expected to be treated after my public service to others all day!!! Do yourself a favor stay...
Read moreMy family and I went to Ruby Tuesday on December 10, 2014. It started off okay but then the waitress Melody failed to sit the drink tray on the table, instead choose to hand out drinks while trying to hold it. In return the drinks all spilled on my oldest son down to his shoes, also his phone and sister as well, and the table of course. So we had to move to another table, booth since it was now sticky. Before ordering any food my husband spoke to the manager Chris about something getting down about the bill but all he could offer was either a appetizer or dessert. Not taking anything into consideration of what took place, yes I understand it was a accident. But he could have at least took care of my 2 older kids meals, being that the both did get wet in the process. We have not been to this place in a long time due to the piss poor customer service, along with managers not willing to do their job. Then of course when we got the bill that was a shocker within itself, we had coupons and asked for two separate bills, but of course that did not happen. Instead we got an outrageous bill divided into 5 sections where the coupons got applied, in the end did not matter much because again the bill was too high still. Will never ever dine at this establishment anymore, it is not worth the money that was spent, in all actuality we should of got up and walked out after the drink spill. That's the main issue I have with businesses stop hiring those that really don't have what it takes to perform the job to the fullest for the sake of the customers, not what they have on paper that qualifies them for the job it takes more than a degree or certificate to work with people. It helps that you are a people person, because then it comes more naturally not something made up which makes it...
