UPDATE: 3/17/21 I used the app to place my order, one #8 Club Sub, I arrived 4 min past the time it was ment to be ready and none of the 4 employees working the front had even started my order. I had already paid for the food or I would have just walked out. My order slip was just sitting on the counter so after 3 of the employees looked at it the forth finally began to make my sub, but only after he TOLD me that I would have to settle for white bread because they were all out of Rosemary. Then he proceeded to throw the meat and toppings on the bread, used his gloved fingers to wipe up the mayo he dropped on the counter and spread it back on the bread, then he finished off my sub by dragging the top bread across the counter before placing it on my sub. I'm just one customer, but many will see my review and I WILL NOT be going back to this location.
I called in my order, and it was not a complicated order. I took my daughter to pick it up. The young man who had made our grinder for us clearly had an attitude. When we got back home and sat down to eat, nothing was correct with our order. None of the toppings that I had asked for were on my grinder and my daughter's was messed up as well. I called the location back to find out the name of the young man and the girl who had originally been nice and took my order became argumentative with me and tried to excuse his attitude by saying "you don't know what we're dealing with every day". I don't know who the owner of this store is, but they need to train the kids running the store on how to treat the customers, and how not to take their own personal issues out on the customers. I'll have to think long and hard before I'll order from this...
Read moreConsistency is key, and Jersey Mike's is nothing if not consistent. I've been visiting both the Horner and Tramway locations regularly since they opened, not to mention other locations prior to the Sanford locations opening, for years.
The food is always fresh, made to order, and served with a smile. If a mistake is made, such as forgetting to add bacon to a club, the mistake is quickly corrected upon being made aware of the issue. I've rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes from the time of walking in, to the point of getting my food, even on the most busiest of days. When it is slow, the made to order food is ready almost as soon as I finish giving my order, toppings and all.
Logan is an excellent employee and is able to predict with a high degree of accuracy on potential additions to the sandwiches.
Heather has worked at both Sanford locations and is doing an excellent job in leading this location. It is always a pleasure seeing, and tasting, the magic of simple ingredients coming together to make a hearty and delicious meal.

Read moreThis is more about the service. Other visits have been fine but this one was bad. Ordered 3 giant subs on the app at 3:02pm for pickup. Was in store at 3:12pm. Ordered a 4th sub in person and saw my app order on counter still not made. Mentioned how that was my order as well and was told they were making them next. Sat down figured it would be soon. 3:30pm saw my subs sitting on the counter and starting to get wrapped. Two in the bag and then a customer goes to the counter and tells the worker that her subs are next in line after mine and she wants them. The worker stops on my order and gets her order together. I stepped up to the counter and asked the worker why she stopped mine for someone after me. I got a blank look from both and continued with the other customer. Finally she went back to my third sub but walked away. Another worker saw it sitting there and finished my order. I left the store at 3:42pm. Wow, such poor service and the customer jumping the line didn't help. Will go to the Tramway store...
