Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Sanford

They really went above and beyond for me. Ordered delivery from the store directly but it was later (10:30p) and apparently once their driver goes home for the day, they use door dash drivers. So we had a door dash driver who delivered pizzas and left at the door without knocking or anything. By the time we realized our pizzas were there, they were ice cold and had been sitting outside for god knows how long. Called the shop and they apologized, said they’d remake our order and added in some cheesy bread as an apology. 30 minutes later, an actual Marco’s delivery driver came and dropped off our food. He also apologized and explained that they don’t like to use door dash for that reason. It’s a common issue all around Orlando - using crappy door dash delivery drivers who genuinely don’t care, but food delivery should really clarify with customers beforehand that door dash is who is delivering. Absolutely fantastic experience at Marco's Pizza in Sanford! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere and the friendly vibe from the father-son duo running the place. They truly have a passion for what they do, and it shows.

Now let's talk about the pizza—it was phenomenal! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining soft and chewy inside, creating the perfect base for their delicious toppings. We tried their signature Margherita and a meat lover’s pizza, and both were bursting with flavor! You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of love into their recipes.

What impressed me the most was how they took the time to explain their pizza-making process and were genuinely interested in our feedback. It’s rare to find such personal touches these days.

I would have given 5 stars based off my first time getting pizza from here. My 2nd (and LAST) time getting pizza from here was much different. My 3 yr old daughter and 7 yr old daughter as well as myself are just starting to get over our extreme food poisoning from a few days ago. Vomiting and diarrhea for a couple days is not fun. It's especially upsetting to watch your babies crying and throwing up everywhere and there's nothing you can do to stop it. It's unfortunate, I was going on and on with a friend, a week ago, over how much we love Marco's Pizza. Not anymore. This has cost me lost wages. We also had to cancel our plans for the beach today which has the kids even more upset. It may be a one time thing from this location but I am not willing to chance this ever...
