Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Santa Ana

It’s almost impressive that this place is still open with how consistently bad everything is, not to mention the terrible service.

I was treated by a greasy employee who looked like he hadn’t showered in 10 days. Couldn’t even see his face with his greasy hair covering it. Couldn’t hear him because he spoke so quietly. I asked him 3 times for a kids quesadilla meal. He was putting everything in a large tortilla, not kids size. He moved slower than I’ve ever seen someone move. He had to be stoned.

I then asked for my chicken bowl. Again, moving slower than anyone should while working. I’ll say again, I’m sure he was stoned. Come time to pay, $23 whatever the change was. Thought a kids meal was $5? A bowl is only $10, so that doesn’t add up. “You didn’t order a kids meal” says the cashier. I did, in fact, order a kids meal, and made sure to repeat it to the stoned grease ball 3 times.

Also, all the food is cold. Honestly, shut this place down.

This is one out of only 2 Chipotle's that I have been to that is not attached to a building with multiple businesses in it, and usually when I get there on a weekday (Between 7:30 & 8:30pm) it doesn't have a long line due to their dinner rush being over.

The staff is quite friendly and very accommodating when they make your order. I had a Chorizo burrito with white rice, black beans, medium salsa, cheese & lettuce, if you haven't gotten their Chorizo meat (mixture of Spicy Pork & Chicken) before then you are really missing out on some limited time deliciousness. I don't think a lot of people know this... they will mix up your burrito for you (Ask for them to do so with Utensils [forks, spoons or knives] ) before they close it up. This way you get a little bit of all the ingredients in each bite you take. This is a new location for us. I was giving a friend a ride home and bought food for 7 people to go. Just like my favorite location in fountain Valley, the food was good. This location got 4 stars as we waited so long to get the food. There were 7 employees walking around and only one serving food!! Surely all were not on break at the same time!! My friend who was with me is pregnant and will have the baby next week. It was tiring for her and her 5 yr old daughter to wait so long after school.
