Firehouse Subs Center On Seventeenth — Restaurant in Santa Ana

I will probably decline when I am assigned to come here to take orders for customers. I can wait and sympathize with them if I wait a long time for them to make the food but is the attitude of the staff looking down on customers unacceptable or is this how they are trained to communicate with customers? they're too young and they shouldn't have such an attitude. those were the previous times and today I had a worse experience coming here. I waited a long time to receive my order and they gave me an opened bag of food that looked very unhygienic and unsafe. I asked them to close it but they said we don't do that here. oh it's amazing to have this kind of service and i can't take a picture of that employee because of privacy violation but she's a bit big and has tattoos on her arms along with her coworker named Nathan. I love the food and the franchise and the whole thing- BUT i walk in to a restaurant that is literally empty and am told by the girl at the front that it will be AT LEAST a 30 minute wait to get a sandwich because "somebody called in a 20 sub box last minute" Im sorry but isnt it standard policy for companies to require this kind of order a day in advance? And even if its not... the new standard is to basically close your store during lunch and do ONE order while driving away in person customers? There were 4 employees working. Here is an idea- dedicate ONE individual to handle incoming orders and leave the rest of your people working on "last minute" catering. Somebody managing this place needs to train these people on efficiency, volume of sales and how not to drive...

I’ve never had this type of bad experience at this location ever until today. CHECK your subs before you leave we got four subs 3 Cajuns and one bacon turkeys ranch . I had to literally throw away my sub because the Cajuns chicken was cold! Like freezing cold! Not only was my Cajun sub Cold but all 3 of them were!! I don’t mean cold as it’s been sitting out I mean cold as in just came out the fridge. Today was disappointing I don’t know if I want to come back this place has been slacking lately.
