Gong Cha Santa Ana — Restaurant in Santa Ana

First off I love Gong Cha when I was living in the bay and it quickly became my favorite spot. So you can imagine the joy I felt when I saw that they had a SoCal location. So on my way home from work I decided to stop by since I have about an hour drive home but, honestly I don't think I'll be coming back to this location. Or if I do I'l have someone else pick it up for me. First off, It was such a weird and awkward experience. I went in at 7pm in a bought a large drink. Used the bathroom since I have a long drive home. Came out, said thank you to the guy who made my drink. (Common Courtesy) There were some girls in the corner (I'm assuming workers) but the girls had homework out and other things and when I expressed my gratitude they giggled. Which is very odd. Then, as I got into my car l proceeded to watch them go into the bathroom after I used it. Which is honestly very weird to me. They did not say anything at all to me. Not even a hello when I walked in. It sucks because the drinks are very good. I'm only giving it a two stars for the drink. I would only give it one but there's no way I could do that to such a good drink. Just left me feeling so weirded out. I would rather spend my money at seven leaves. And I left a $5 tip! Made me regret giving them my money...

We ordered 15 large milk teas with cream brulee topping but it wasn't torched at all by mistake but the store owner Gina apologized very sincerely and she ask for another chance to cover her mistake and we order today again and they made it perfect today! not only torched the cream brulee perfectly caramelized but also put all drinks in the ice bucket to keep drinks fresh! plus all drinks taste very delicious! Thanks again for all staff and especially Gina who is very professional about the business! Best Boba and service in town! 100%...

Gotta say they delivered.

Gina the manager heard me debating on earl grey vs other drinks so she came by and decided to help out by giving me a sample of both kinds. Typically boba establishments don’t do this kind of service, thank you 😊.

I also believe I’m a picky customer too so that was really attentive of them. Thank you Gina and the gentlemen who was helping me at the front desk. 🫶
