Loose Leaf Boba Company — Restaurant in Santa Ana

Soft opening in early August. I’ve been to the one in Long Beach a few years ago (and I remember it being good there) and just happened upon this one thanks to Google Maps.

They’re still a staff-in-training, but I wouldn’t know it if it wasn’t for the sign saying so.

My Assam black milk tea was solid - tea concentration was good and I had it with Oatly oat milk so it was a little lighter. I especially like that they offer different types of milk.

This place is accessible from the Fourth St side of the new (still under construction) Fourth St Market #4SM

Lots of outdoor seating in a parklet (parking spaces converted to outdoor space) just outside the doors. And a kind man was cleaning and wiping down the tables and chairs.

All-in-all, def worth a visit if you are in the OC for some legit boba that focuses on quality teas...

We were here to attend the Dia de los Muertos event, and it was a warm day and wanted to grab a drink. Found this place on Google maps, decided to give them a try as we've tried them in Long Beach before and the drinks were pretty good then.

Always loved their decor and style, very organic and open with their use of wood and white/black aesthetics. I ordered their jasmine green tea and saw that their 50% sweet was their standard, but I wanted to double check before purchasing and the staff was more than helpful and very friendly. I ended up getting it 25% sweet and it came out perfect, subtle sweetness with a great tea profile. The wait wasn't long either, only took about 2-3 minutes for our order.

It was a special event parking this weekend so the parking in the structure right next door was $10...

Stumbled upon this place before driving back to LA. It's inside the market plaza. I got the Banana Fosters Milk (i had it as it is - quarter sweetness, and sub with oat milk) with boba of course and it was delicious! Tastes just like the dessert but in liquid form! My bf got their seasonal item which was the peach mango sunset (same quarter sweetness with boba). The sweetness is just perfect for both. Highly recommended if you're in the area, and will definitely come back to try out their other drinks.

UPDATED: They were near closing and were very accommodating when we called asking if they're able to take last orders. This is definitely my go to boba place whenever in OC now! Next time I'll try...
