I’ve been a fan of Doner G for a while, and never had problems with the Irvine location, but this location… the last few times I went, there was always something a bit off. We kept going because again, I’m a fan of the restaurant and it’s a convenient location for my wife and I… but this morning, we both woke up feeling very sick, having to go to the restroom multiple times, and both feeling nauseous. After an hour laying in bed I went to the restroom and threw up a lot as well, (and I NEVER throw up.) I got food poisoning, plain and simple.

I say this next part as a Latino; I felt like the people who worked there didn’t really speak English and I’m not sure about their hygiene standards. It just didn’t seem as put together as the Irvine spot. My message to the owner… you’ve got a great concept and I have been eating your food for years but you really got to look into that location. They were really confused at basic questions I asked, they didn’t seem that enthusiastic, and the food made me sick as a dog this morning. It’s a shame.

EDIT: I wrote this review about an hour ago, and have been lying in bed… just threw up a lot more. Never been sick from food like this since I was a kid. DO NOT EAT THIS LOCATION, DRIVE TO IRVINE AND OWNER PLEASE...

I recently visited DonerG Turkish & Mediterranean to try their wraps, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience! From the moment we walked in, Colton, Patti, and Celest greeted us with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

Colton truly went above and beyond in providing exceptional service. As it was our first time there, he made fantastic suggestions and took the time to explain the menu, which I greatly appreciated. He was incredibly patient with me, especially since I was indecisive and eager to try a little bit of everything. His enthusiasm for the food was infectious, and it made the experience even more enjoyable.

The portion sizes were generous, especially compared to other places I've visited, which made the meal even more satisfying.

The restaurant itself was impeccably clean and well maintained, indicating that the staff takes pride in their establishment. It was clear that this is a beloved spot in the community, as many patrons were enjoying their meals and chatting happily.

I will definitely be coming back to DonerG, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to my friends and family. If you’re looking for delicious Mediterranean cuisine and top-notch service, make sure to stop by and say...

Decided to bring my husband to this restaurant as he has never had Turkish food before. As soon as we go in, we are greeted by a gentleman in the front (the manager?). He was very nice and offered to explain us the menu. We ordered the falafel salad and Turkish street fries. The set up of this restaurant reminds me of Chipotle. The food is made in front of you and you customize your dish as you go. All the ingredients are very fresh and the fries are fried as you order (you will not be soggy fries here). The reason why I am not giving this restaurant 5 stars is because the customer service is not consistent. As much as I like the customer service the gentleman in the front was providing, the rest of the staff did not seem to care. Everybody was very rude and did not want to be there. The person who was working the cash register asked us if we wanted sauces with our meal. My husband wanted to know the difference between the sauces to decide which one to get (we didn't want to get all of them and waste it if we didn't end up liking them). But this person did not seem to know much...

Horrific experience, we come here 3x a week tonight omfg. 3 ppl working dont listen to anything we are saying we ask for the beef to be more cooked since it’s raw. The women gets upset, as we are waiting a fly/nat Flys on my husbands food. We are telling them they don’t offer to replace or remake it. The women ignores the fact that we asked for a combo on one and ends up making the fries last. Not only do we pay for a fly induced wrap but also cold food. Oh and she didn’t recook the meat she left it in the silver bowl and served it in our food anyway. Im disgusted we paid 35.50 for something we didn’t eat we literally tossed it out and made it to the habit 15min before closing. I retake my previous review

The thing is, it's absolutely impossible to find a normal doner in our places. All the time, something isn't done right, either the sauce, or the meat, or the fillings. What can I say about this doner. First of all, the most important thing is that the wrap should definitely be cooked in the grill. The cook did this, but literally for 10 seconds. The pita should be a little crispy. Next, the sauce is put inside the product and not given in a plastic container, and finally, check your pickles, I think you have them not fresh and give the impression that they have been lying around for a couple of days.

I travel to California often, eating while on the road is not the easiest. I tried Doner G a few years ago and they have become my "go to" dash meal! Everything I have tried from Doner G is amazing. The thin sliced beef is moist, flavorful, and tender. The chicken is probably my favorite juicy and lightly seasoned. The smokey baba ganoush is some of the best I have ever had, and the hummus has a wonderful kick of lemon. The shepherds salad is bright with lemon, olive oil, and sumac. I've never been to the restaurant but I can tell the chefs are proud of their work. Thank you Doner G, I am a fan!
