Peroni Pizza — Restaurant in Santa Ana

Pronto Pizza is my favorite budget pizza. The dough is a lot different compared to Little Caesars and La Pizza Loca. This location doesn't offer pizza delivery, so I recommend calling ahead so you're not waiting there for 15 - 20 minutes. The menu is quite simple with only a few flavors such as pepperoni, cheese, Hawaiian, supreme, and meat lovers. I believe this is standard for most budget pizzerias. They do allow you to add other toppings for an extra charge.

The pepperoni and cheese pizzas are $5. It's about 8 slices per box and very tasty. There is also wings and cheese bread. Now the cheese bread is like a pizza without pizza sauce. It's just the dough, cheese and garlic. It's actually pretty good and is $5. If you like the garlic butter sauce get that with jalapenos.

Service is hit or miss. My most recent time, I ordered the garlic sauce with jalapenos but when I asked for it, he said he didn't charge me. Now I had to do separate transaction for $1.60. Not a big deal but a little annoying. They also skipped out on the peppers. The ladies who run the front counter, open the boxes and show you what you ordered and paid for, while the guys either to forget to charge you for everything, forget the peppers, and forget to cut the pizza....

The flavor of these pizzas is really good, they use fresh products for the toppings. The crust (and bread in general) is pretty flavorless in comparison with the competition. The staff is friendly but not very well trained when it comes to using the cash register. For example, if you order 3 toppings in half the pizza and 3 different toppings in the other half, they will charge you for 6 toppings even though they're only using half the amount of each topping, which is a complete rip off. Their excuse is that the system doesn't let them charge for 3 toppings like all the other pizzas houses do in this case. However, if you order anything from the menu without much modifications the prices are reasonable. It's a good value for the price. Just try to avoid playing the half and half toppings game because you'll get frustrated trying to explain simple math.

the other day I came in, keep in mind the place is called pronto pizza, the manager(who was working the cashier) says it'll be 7 minutes, well I'm sitting down waiting.An employee of hers comes in and he wanted to buy some pizza for him and his family. the manager who I assume was the manager(causeof the way she spoke with this man) starts hassling him on his work when he's not even working he was just in there with his two daughters. I took pictures of this, she even took him in to show him how to do things while his kids waited out side, honestly it was his day off, wrong place and wrong time. im gonna do some research on the US department of labor. btw took about like 20 minutes to finish...
