We decided to do a Carr tasting because our friends have been members for years, the winery offers Cab Francs, which we love and believe are under appreciated, the tasting room looked cool in photos, and it was within walking distance of our hotel. The tasting room and tasting bar were even cooler in person and we enjoyed tasting the wines on the shaded patio, led by our excellent tasting guide, who was well-schooled in the wines on offer. Read moreTerrible terrible service…or actually sorry, LACK OF SERVICE. Every table had complimentary snacks except us. We waited almost 20 mins in between our pours. We basically had to go up to the server to ask him for our next few pours for the tasting. As he poured, he blankly just stated the type of wine and nothing about it. The table next to us with the same server had to go up and get their menus. The other tables had such a nice, pleasant lady (Vanessa) serving them. We almost moved tables due to the service.
