This is a "locals spot" nice little local restaurant the service was quick and friendly, only street parking and being in Santa Barbara that can be a problem. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs with home potatoes. The only complaint I have is that the serving portions were small especially for the price, the price for my breakfast was the same as the price at a much larger restaurant 😳 but the portions were significantly less 😳 and your served one piece of toast instead of two, the home potatoes were very few and chicken fried steak was small about half the size as in other restaurants. But the food was fresh and tasted good. 😋 hopfully my experience was just a One-off and not their normal practice. I realize that the restaurant business is tuff these days (tuffer than when I owned my restaurant) but you're not going to gain or even retain your customer base but short changing your customers with smaller portions. I would go back and try something off their lunch menu, like I said the food was good.
