Roris Artisanal Creamery changed my life. I was having a bad day and decided I would get some ice cream. Roris happened to be around the corner. I entered and the service was delightful and lovely. I was welcomed and greeted with warm smiles and cold ice cream as I was able to sample any ice cream I pleased. And may I say there was no shy samples. I tried almost all of them, except one. When I asked one of the nice girls behind the counter she suggested the honey lavender ice cream. I was afraid to sample an icy treat wirh such bold flavors, but alas I sampled it anyways. When the spoon entered my mouth and the cold honey lavender flavor touched my tongue my life was forever changed. The day I tried honey lavender ice cream was the day my taste in ice went from a boy to a man. I would no longer eat such childish flavors such as thrifty cotton candy or bubble gum flavored helados, but only would I eat honey lavender. Thank you Roris for the amazing service and the amazing ice cream. I will be sure to come in evey week for a pint of...
Read moreOkay, firstly to costumers, the ice cream was lovely!! Highly recommend the vegan mixed berry.
Secondly to the store, I have a few suggestions!
1: make sure your employees are informed on what your products (the poly paper cups in this case) are actually made of. One of the very nice staff members miss informed me that I could put the cup in the compost after I was upset he through one out after i changed my mind on my ice cream flavor (of course my fault!). I knew that it was lined with plastic as soon as I look at the bottom where it says "poly paper" 2: I highly suggest if the Public Market your store is in has compost bins, use compostable products!! Including actual compostable ice cream cups, maybe even compostable drink cups and definitely wooden/bamboo compostable little ice cream spoons
Looking forward to more yummy ice cream next visit (but I'll be bringing my own...
Read moreI don't give many restaurants and food places five stars very often, but this ice cream shop definitely deserves it! It is difficult to find an ice cream shop that serves dairy free ice cream that my daughter can eat. They had three choices on their menu and dairy free cones. My daughter ordered the Roman's chocolate coconut and said it was the best non-dairy ice cream she had ever had. I ordered the brown sugar banana ice cream sandwich. It was ice cream in the middle of two chocolate glazed snickerdoodles. Oh my gosh! It was amazing! My wife order a scoop of brown sugar banana, a scoop of root beer float, and a scoop of Nutella. I tried it and it was delicious! Amazing ice cream shop! I...
