Peet's Coffee — Restaurant in Santa Clara

I have never left a negative review for a Peet's ever, but I guess theres a first time for everything. The drink was good, as usual. This review is about a staff member. The guys name is Nick, hes blonde, that's all I've got. He may be a manager, but regardless, he was incredibly rude and demeaning to the other 2 workers in the store. I waited for 5 min before I could place my order, not a big deal. We are all outside due to Covid-19, and Nick could not stop yelling at one or both of the other workers "are you gonna help these people or not? I'm trying to work on drinks). The other two were actively making drink orders and Nick was just walking around, puffing his chest out, and being rude, in front of customers. It was really awkward to all of us. Also, he was short with the two women in line, ahead of me. Customer service and swiftness is important, yes, but so is teamwork and showing kindness and professionalism when you're customer facing. I’ve been going to Petes coffee chain for a while now. However, this store has frustrated me every time I go in there before class in the morning to get a coffee. Last time I asked for an iced vanilla latte the lady was rushing me at the counter ended up giving me a black iced coffee. I was in a rush to get to school. I was gonna be late if I had to wait for them to make me another drink so I basically paid for it to sit in my car drink tray. Then today I go in to get a vanilla iced latte. I asked for extra ice extra milk. They gave me light ice. This is after I already had to repeat the order four times to the cashier the carelessness I experience with these people is very frustrating. I ordered a smoked ham and cheese sandwich , the edges were hot but the middle was lukewarm. Why am I going in there to pay fourteen dollars for a coffee? get it together. This Peets location seriously needs to work on their customer service skills & picking up the pace. Been to this location more than once.

The two female barista preparing the drinks were working at a very slow pace, and when it came to making my Chai Tea Latte (with extra Chai) one of the baristas rolled her eyes at me when her fellow coworker (with purple hair) mentioned to her that my drink came with extra Chai.

You give me a nasty look because I ordered extra Chai to my drink?

Mind you; servers like her are the reason why businesses lose customers & profit. We the customers bring the money that goes into your pockets & business.

If you, the server, does not care to give good customer service, or does not like your job then you have no business working as a server.

Side note; please stop leaving the cash register unattended when customers are waiting in line to order! It leaves an extremely bad impression on your business, and especially for...
