Cousins Burgers — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

My visit to Cousins Burgers was great. I was greeted immediately when I walked in, and looking at the menu was a bit overwhelmed with options. The gentleman at the front helped break it down just by asking what I was in the mood for and directed me to the proper section of the menu. I got the 6oz bacon cheeseburger combo with pepper jack. There are definitely other restaurants that serve burgers, but this is the only place that felt like a burger joint through and through. Everything tasted super fresh, and they have a toppings bar where you can add exactly what you want. The fries were amazing, homestyle, and piping hot. Both of the gentlemen working there were friendly and polite throughout, having small talk while I waited, and checking in to see how I liked my food. It truly seems like they cared about what they do. The restroom was surprisingly clean and tidy, a detail that many restaurants skip, but made for a much better experience when I went to wash my hands. The only downside, was that the seating was a bit uncomfortable. I wouldn't want to sit and talk for an hour while I ate. But every other aspect of my visit was fantastic, I will definitely be coming back with my friends the next time I'm craving a good old fashioned...

Don't pass by this great little restaurant! When you had enough cold dry $10. fast food burgers from the typical, now completely overpriced drive-thru restaurants, it's time to try Cousins Burgers instead! (Next to Ralphs.) So much to choose from on this menu! Breakfast burritos, burgers, sandwiches, salads and much more that will satisfy even the biggest appetites. They have a nice little toppings bar with the very best pickles! The charbroiled chicken salad is one of my favorites, and there are many others, like Taco, Cobb, Santa Fe,etc. Nothing better than supporting small businesses like this. I decided to try this place out; and all I can say is I probably won’t stop here that often. The hotdog was super greasy and I had to tip it over to get all the grease out of it, and even dabbed it with a napkin and it was still swimming in grease. The hotdog was split in half and the bun split open while I was eating it so it bounced off the basket onto the floor. I was only halfway done with it 😕. The French fries were good but nothing much to say about that. The bathroom and resturaunt in general was run down which was fine with me. Milkshakes weren’t even that good.
