I really wanted to love this place, the food looks amazing, and the reviews seemed great, but unfortunately the horrific service killed the experience. We were the first customer in the resturant, and the waitress seemed irritated from the moment we walked in. We ordered our drinks and the waitress slammed them on our table. As I was about to take a drink out of my Arnold palmer, I noticed there was a dark piece of slime floating at the top of the drink. I called the waitress over to tell her about it and without saying a word she walked away from our table. Dumbfounded, i sat there and wondered what happened. Moments later she returned with another drink. I asked her what the slime was and she said it was from the tea. I said well then I don’t want this drink, I will take a coke in that case, and it was at that point the irritated waitress rolled her eyes and grabbed the drink off our table so briskly the drink spilled on me. I will never know if the service is good here, all I can say is the service...
Read morenice staff and the inside looks pretty good. very large dining area and then separate bar area with dining and sports on. I thought the salsa tasted a bit like ketchup but my wife didn't really think that but agreed not the best she has had. The House Margarita was decent. the rice was good, the beans were OK but nothing special. my wife had a bean and cheese burrito smothered in red sauce and it was decent she said but she likes our normal spot better.
I had a shredded beef taco which was pretty good, chille relleno which was very good and a cheese Enchilada with mole sauce. I have had alot of mole at many restaurants and I will say this one is my least favorite. it had too much chili powder or some spice I couldn't put my finger on. maybe it was not the best batch they have ever made but in the end I think there are better spots to eat at at.
the bonus here is that if you have kids they have a bunch of things on the menu brunch menu including pancakes and various dishes to keep...
Read moreEverybody loves Mexican food. Their proliferation in the area is proof to that fact. So how can one choose when there are so many restaurants? Dairo's found a way. Starting off with their Sun brunch, not many restaurants that I have been to include complimentary champagne (3 glass limit). Whether its been a weekday or weekend, brunch, lunch or dinner, Taco Tuesday or any other occasion; the service has always been friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is wonderful, not to noisy like the others. The lighting is also better, not too dark. I couldn't possibly recommend just one specific item to try. All the entrees, appetizers and drinks (especially the drinks!) have been fantastic. As far as desserts go, the deep fried ice cream reigns supreme among them. I don't think I've had to wait long even for large parties of 10 or more. Parking is somewhat ample, just depends on the time of day or day of the week you go. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. Its...
