Just left the drive thru and had to leave this review to warn others not to waste their time and money at this location.
Manager, Roberto, (if that's his real name, or even the manger), was rude and refused to honor a simple coupon for a free medium fries. He took our drive thru order, we added to the order the medium fries and pulled up to the window and presented the coupon from the app. After multiple attempts of scanning and with no success, I asked if he can manually input the code and he said "no, he cannot" I offered another solution, maybe someone there can or knows how, again he said no, it's not possible. That system only accepts scans - ridiculous right
I'm not upset that we didn't get the fries, just the fact that he refused to help us. Not sure if he's incompetent or just didn't want to help us.
Needless to say, I cancelled our order and drove 5 mins to the Del Taco in Pico Rivera, off of Washington Blvd. and they were quick to help us and got the order, honored the coupon with no hassle whatsoever. I asked them if it was possible to input the code of the coupon manually if needed and they answered, "yes, of course."
This led me to believe that either manager Roberto from Del Taco Santa Fe Springs was truly incompetent to take orders and operate the register or he flat out lied to us.
If you are like me and value good customer service, then do not come here. Take your business else where. This is the only way they will learn and listen.

Read moreI went to this location last weekend; with my granddaughter I placed an order for a coke and hot coffee for myself. This male employee in his early forties replied "coke and ice coffee" several times the same thing. "No, a medium coke and regular hot coffee", he got upset so I drove around to the window assuming a speaker issue, kindly repeated my order, he abruptly said no hot coffee .. you get cold coffee! I replied, can you make some hot, It's really not that hard? He really got nasty, saying no, hot coffee it doesn't sell here. I don't he's, was a made in the USA, because maybe a possible cultural break down. The leadership at this location, needs to provide some customer service training, I replied, I would rate my experience here and he replied that he could give a flying fig! @#&! he showed total ignorance in providing nasty service. I drove on down to the Del Taco in Whittier, they were happy to serve me and my granddaughter. I won't be going back to that location again.

I placed an order during breakfast hours though the drive thru. I show who I believe was the manager at this location my rewards QR code. There was an item ready to redeem as rewards attached to the QR, but he did not want to honor it, He said since I did not order it at the drive thru I was too late. I asked if there was a chance that I can wait for it in the parking lot or come in for it, he just kept telling me no it's too late. There was a rudeness to his replies, as if I was annoying him by even asking. There was one car behind me in line, so I understand that I would have to wait in the parking lot because of my error in how to redeem this item, but the rudeness of how I was treated was startling.
