To whom it my concern. My husband and I went to have a special dinner. The young lady took are order very nice. I ordered tacos with rices beans and sour cream with guacamole I asked the young lady if I could have soft tacos instead so she took my plate and came back with two tacos rice posole so I asked her if I could have my sour cream and guacamole for my tacos please so she went back and then came back and told me she told me I would have to pay $2 for the sour cream and $2 for the guacamole I explained to her that my first plate had came with it and with four tacos so when she went to get the plate it was too hot for her I went to give her the napkin and she put the spoon on the plate and then the owner comes out and cosme they couldn't give me my first plate because they are giving it to another customer that I would have to pay for both of them I'm like what I haven't even eaten and she told me that there was the spoon on the plate and that I had to pay for both and I explained to her the plate was so hot the girl use the napkin so I told her fine I'm just going to go I have not touched a bite off your food and she proceeded to yell at me and tell me she was going to call the cops I said I will wait for the cops as well because I did not take a bite of the plate by the time this all happened my husband was only able to eat half I have his dinner so I told him just pay the lady whatever she needs and let's get out of this awful environment can't the lady get good...

Everone knew Mrs. Julia was always in pain but...that does come with being an owner of your own establishment and plain ole being a hard worker since she is no longer there that still gives no excuse for BAD service thats all on the new staff and like I said before we sure do miss Mrs. Julia AND all of her old dedicated workers who worked with her for years I would say SHE did something right...

Sadly, if this were my first experience with authentic Mexican cuisine, it would be my last as I'm sure it is for many. However, if you're really hungry, you won't starve. If you like dry salty over peppered canned food, you won't mind this. Personally, I'd rather have Blue Wilderness dog food as would my dog who wouldn't eat it either. Not sure why I insulted her like that, but in my defense, a doggy bag generally indicates dogs will not turn away. I hope and pray she forgives me.

I'm baffled by the good reviews. Thinking they must have lost their sense of taste and smell to the bug or something? Too many margaritas? Or perhaps, this was their first and only experience with authentic Mexican food? Hired trolls maybe?

Who knows other than it's highly questionable to those who can taste and smell the food.

I'd say cuisine, but that might indicate it didn't come out of a can which I highly suspect this did. The only explanation other than false advertising would be perhaps authentic Mexican food from Sam's Club?

Personally, I'd just go to Sam's Club and get some chips, guac, salsa, green chili, and a few frozen burritos. With the money saved, it would feel like Xmas and tastes better too. Regardless, no one should charge that much...

Was told to visit via Audrey (sp?) at Meow Wolf asking for a bomb Santa Fe chile relleno. Caught them RIGHT at closing super rude on our part BUT still amazing staff and THE BEST ever chili relleno. You wouldn't have known they were about to close. The sweetest waitress brought us different sauces and stuff just to try and make sure we got everything exactly right and to our tasting. Loved the peppers. I did mine wrong but just the stuffed, fried, cheese and pepper. No sauce on top. I feel like all the sauce is a bit redundant on a chilie. It was fantastic! Charlie had the Wednesday special blue corn enchiladas and idk if I even got a picture he wolfed them down so fast. He chose the fully dressed Christmas version. Will definitely be coming back next time I am in town. The parking was free and right there and we even joked that if they were closing we would have just gone next door to the strip club/bar since it was the only thing open in Santa Fe short of Taco Bell. Oh and the beans weren't canned and nothing upset my stomach which is amazing for this style food.

This place is an amazing experience of Santa Fe cuisine and culture. Once you walk into the restaurant proper, you are greeted with memrobilia and knick-knacks that immerse you into this unique culture. You immediately feel at home. The servers are friendly and knowlegable of the menu. Three of my family members are vegan and had no problem finding something to eat (beans both whole and refried and rice are vegan friendly). The sopaipillas are to die for whether you get them stuffed with your choice of meat, cheese, beans, etc., or just eat them hot and with honey. Guacamole was well seasoned and swimming with chopped tomatoes. Horchata was delicious as well. If you like spicy might I suggest getting the "Christmas" sauce drenched on your entree: an amazing blend of spicy red sauce and green sauce with green chile chunks. Only wish this place was closer.

This is the Taco Tuesday review Special : Five tacos Cost : $12.00 This restaurant is one of my go-to spots whenever I’m craving something delicious. The tacos are always tasty, filled with fresh cheese, lettuce, and tomato, and you can choose between chicken or beef. The size of the tacos is perfect—not the extra-large ones with flat bottoms, but a generous regular size that satisfies. And the best part? The price is unbelievable! You get great quality for a really reasonable cost. A standout feature is the sopapillas they serve alongside the tacos—they’re absolutely the best and really complete the meal. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, this place consistently delivers a satisfying and flavorful experience.
