Wowwwww!!! What an experience we had. Friend and I went to eat at wok Chinese food. Everything was pretty cool. The young lady pretty awesome. But my food had about 3 head of chopped garlic (didn’t mention that on the menu), no one checked on us not even once. We told the lady the food had wayyyy to much garlic and I wasn’t able to eat it. My friend’s food wasn’t good, and the rice had onion when we asked for none, but we didn’t say anything about that.
Anyway, as we were paying, the cook or owner came out very aggressive and told us to say what we didn’t want in our meal before cooking it. We didn’t know it had garlic, let alone that much. The dish is called “chicken and vegetables”, that’s it. He started screaming at us for not saying we don’t want garlic, we told him how if the menu said nothing about it. He continued arguing as he walked away. Never had that happened to us before.

Read moreI find the food super delicious!! My employer ordered Wok for staff lunch this week, and I promptly went back for more the following day.
It seems to me that the majority of bad reviews came from entitled patrons, who failed to take into account, that the wait to be greeted and sat, have an order taken, your food be prepared and brought out increases exponentially during times of staffing shortage due to global pandemic conditions (I noted the timelines of inflammatory comments carefully).
Reacting without patience and understanding is inconsiderate, ignorant, and by no means any reflection of the product or establishment. Keep in mind also, that these services are offered to us all during a pandemic. If you have trouble comprehending and appreciating the privilege of having someone else prepare and bring you food, perhaps consider eating at home an alternative option.

Read moreThought I might try someplace new (to me) today, I happened upon the WOK. I was greeted almost immediately. Given a table next to a window. First point of positive impressions was the fact the tables were all with real linens, napkins, same on table in pyramid fold. The lunch menu had all the standard fare, not much in the way of beef plates, plenty of chicken, shrimp, vegan. Many dishes available with chili or spicy as clearly indicated on menu. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I ordered the kung poa chicken, egg drop soup and brown rice which carried a $1.00 upcharge... was worth it. Egg roll, wontons were all included at a very reasonable price. Food came out hot and fresh. This would be a nice place to bring a date or simply as I did, lunch. All in all a definite do over! Also as a little bonus...beer and wine both domestic and...
