Louie B's — Restaurant in Santa Maria

This place has a bad reputation for some things that happened a long time ago but I personally have never had any issues there or seen anything crazy. They have three 8 foot (smaller) pool tables and it's only 75 cents to play, the cheapest in town that I know of. They make some of the best micheladas in town as well. This place has great potential if it didn't have the bad name it's been tainted with from the past. There's a tall dark Mexican bouncer there named Carlos who can be annoying at times. Seems to have power trips at times. I also dislike when they try to charge $5 or $10 at the door to get into this place. It ain't a damn club and this ain't SB or SLO. One of the best DJs in town DJs...

If you want to find a great atmosphere with that small town at home vibe that reminds you of the TV Show CHEERS, come on in. With great karaoke, smiling staff, and a vast plethora of personalities, you will not be bored or lonely. And remember to smile and be nice, your world revolves around you but the world at Louie B's revolves...

Nice dive bar. Seems the locals love it. Went a little early so it was fairly empty but did pick up by 9:30pm when I left. Bartender was chill, drinks were priced eh, just ok.
