First let me say! I love Mountain Mikes Pizza, it's the best. We have two locations in Santa Maria, one on the north end of town and one on the south end. I started going to the one on the north end of town a few months after they opened and the quality of service and food was great and still is. Since I live close to the pizza location on the south end of town, I started going there and the pizza is still great, but lacking in customer service. The first incident occurred when an online order was made. I went to pick up the pizza, gave the young lady the name for the order and waited for it, keeping in mind, when you order online, they give you an estimated time your order should be ready, I was there ahead of time. People were coming and going and the time for my pizza being ready had way passed as well, so I asked the young lady who waited on me how much longer for my order, she went to the counter where the pizza's were sitting and took mine off the counter, it had been there for quite some time and I pointed that out and there was no apology given. Today, my wife ordered a pizza online, again on the south end of town and the time it was to be ready was 30 minutes, I got there about 10 minutes before and gave the clerk the name for the pizza and she went to check on it and told me it would be 10 minutes, I said okay, thanks. After about 20 minutes, a young man comes out and tells me there was a problem with my order and that they just put it in the oven, he asked me if I wanted a soda while I waited, I said no thanks. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my pizza. When the clerk brought my pizza out he did apologize as did another staff person. I explained my first bad experience and frustration and left. I have worked in the foodservice/ customer care for over 20 years and this was absolutely ridiculous! This is our second interaction with this new establishment and we will NOT be going back. We ordered online @ 5:17, were told to pick up at 6:30, got there, and told 20 more min wait that they were swamped, waited another 30 mins before asking for our money back to go somewhere else. We were just one of 5 different orders that had waited 2+ hours several of who asked for a refund. Every time we asked about our order we were told it's coming out next when there were no pizzas in the oven. When I asked to talk to the manager her was no help, no remorse or response for the issues at hand and I believe he gave us a bogus number for contacting the local owner. His response was the money will be back in your account in 3-5 business days have a good night! Great people-skill customer service that one has! They would not honor the buy one get one free coupon that was sent to me via messenger from FB Page even though I showed her all the steps I was taking with it. Then told 25min wait. go back in and ask for update roughly 15 min later and get told rudely it will be 25 min. I said more and the rude staff member said our wait time is currently 45 min.= and gave me some attitude. I was bound and determined this was going to be a bad review...
