A Lazy Sunday and a Lazy Daisy cafe to start the day things got bettah. :D Let’s begin! Lazy Daisy CafĂš is a colorful quaint outdoor cafe located on Pico blvd and 23rd st in Santa Monica. This little cafĂ© offers an all-day menu of breakfast omelets, french toast, pancakes, sandwiches and salads as well as an espresso. I came as a first time customer and was met with a nice smile and greeting from a female hispanic hostess. It has mostly outdoor seating. I perused their menu and it has a modest food and drink items. I had a French Toast Special x Iced Coffee. Both taste good and modestly satisfying. Service was impeccable. Staff were cordial, attentive and professional. Prices were super reasonable despite its location. Street Parking was available and easy to park. Overall, it’s a nice cafe to grab a quick breakfast or lunch in a quiet street. I recommend you visit.

This casual spot is my go-to for breakfast and lunch, especially after soccer practice with my son at Virginia Park, which is conveniently located right across the street. Although I haven't visited their other two locations, this one has never disappointed. The menu might seem simple at first glance, but it's brimming with options. My personal favorite is the huevos rancheros, while my son can't get enough of their Breakfast Pancakes, which are served with two eggs any style and a choice of bacon or sausage. The seating is primarily outdoors, so I recommend bringing an extra layer if you plan to dine on the patio. A highlight for me is that they serve breakfast all day.

What a hidden gem! The most perfect Sunday morning brunch spot. This place has pretty much any breakfast food available, making group brunches way easier. We didn't need a reservation, which I appreciated. I decided to try the Huevos Rancheros and they did not miss. They were full of flavor and I licked my plate clean. The prices are very reasonable and fair for the amount of food you receive. My friend was cold so we decided to move inside closer to the heaters. The staff was very accommodating and helped us move our food and belongings inside. We will be back!

Unfortunately I have to give one star to write this review. In actuality it should be ZERO stars.

I rarely write reviews unless the food and/or service is stellar or the complete opposite.

We arrived today at 11:10am for a party of 3. We were seated promptly and put our order in by 11:15am-11:20am. 2 Belgian waffle breakfast and 1 pancake breakfast. 1 cafe latte and 1 lemonade. The drinks came out within 5 minutes, but our food never came. Nobody checked on us to see why we haven't received our food or anything. 35-40 minutes later we asked what happened to our food.

After 5 minutes the waiter came back and said that they lost our ticket and would comp the drinks and put our order back in, then briskly walked off and didn't even ask what our original order was.

25 more minutes pass by and nothing. In total this was over an hour after we originally put in our order. It wasn't that busy and people that had came well after us had gotten their food, eaten and had already paid and went about their day. We had plans to go to Santa Barbara today and this really threw us off. My son was starving, so was I and my girlfriend was livid at this point. She wanted to make a fuss and so did I, but I just didn't really think it would change the situation so we all just got up and left.

I have NEVER felt so disrespected by an establishment before. I'll never come here again. We walked in with smiles and left feeling disgusted and that whole ordeal really put all of us in a...

Today I had the worst experience with this restaurant. It was my first time coming here and it will be my last. I came with a group of friends to eat breakfast. There was literally no one there except my friends and I and our kids. I ordered huevos rancheros and my other friend order an avocado toast. If you have ordered or ever tried huevos rancheros you know your eggs do not come scrambled. The eggs should be more of a fried sunny side egg. But no! My huevos rancheros came with scrambled eggs and same thing with my friend’s avocado toast (scrambled eggs on top of her avocado toast). Apart from this mistake the customer service was horrible. Our order took so so long and once our order came we never got napkins. I was upset with how my food came and service so I immediately went up and asked for my check. I asked the person at the desk to give me my check and some napkins. Again they took so long to give me back my check and when they did give it to me they forgot to give me napkins. So disappointed with this place. Food took so long, order was completely different from what I asked for, customer service was a total reck. They never bothered to check up on us and see if we need anything or if we are satisfied with our food. Please reconsider...

I had the Cesar sandwich with avocados. It was served on a delicious Ciabatta bread. I got mine with fries. You have the option of fruit and soup but I'm allergic to the fruit they offered and felt like fries. They were crinkle cut and good as long as they were warm. But aren't all fries better warm? The outside dining area seemed a little close together tho only a few tables in each section. They were pretty busy. There seemed to be a server for every aspect of the meal so when we asked for straws, we had to ask again when the person serving the food came by. At those prices, I'd expect better service. I don't think there was anything on the menu under $14.95 except drinks which were about 7-8 bucks. The food portions were pretty substantial. Overall, it was a nice place to have a Sunday lunch with my adult daughter. I also have an ESA, who was well behaved, so they had no problem with him being...
