Came here to have a dinner and restroom break. The restrooms have a code lock. I asked the young man at the counter for the code. He said they are for customers only. I said okay. He said what can I order for you. I said I’ll order after I’ve used the restroom. He just stared at me glaring at me over his COVID mask. He then said he’d get the manager. I said great. She then said what I think was the same thing to him. He came back and repeated that the restrooms are for customers only. I said, I am a customer. He then reluctantly gave me the code. I understand why restrooms are restricted to customers only, because unfortunately homeless people will come in and occupy them. However, I am not homeless, nor do I look homeless. I am also an Uber driver who has to find a restroom to use any given place I may be when that time comes. That said, it’s ridiculous for any restaurant to be stingy about the use of a restroom, especially in a tourist heavy area such as this, and especially in a place where you feed people. I will never come to the restaurant again.
And just now as I am standing in the restroom, finishing the writing of this review, the manager came in to check on me asking if I was still using the restroom. When I said yes she just stood there and stared at me. I asked if she needed something and she said she was needing to clean it, which was...
Read moreRe-Update: I increased my rating, I may have been too harsh. This location has undergone some renovations and although it's in a generally less safe part of the city due to a lot of "seemingly" (and actually) dangerous people wandering around frequently or having loud irrational conversations with themselves, it's a bit more secure than other locations deeper into LA and most of the staff are okay here. I've had a handful of instances in the past where they gave me an attitude for some reason, but I have to let bygones be bygones. I feel like my only "thing" is that the place is so tiny, and the lines get zigzagged and confusing when busy lol. They could possibly expand by sacrificing some of the parking lot space, but I assume the current business size saves on rent and utilities for them, also post-COVID or general fear of public spaces for hygienic reasons may make people less comfortable dining in. I usually get to-go or drive-thru unless I'm with people. Overall, not the absolute worst location and employees here deserve better overall...
Read moreI come here frequently and the service is good and food is usually hot and fresh. But today I felt completely different. When I walked in someone named Rebecca watched me walk through the door to the counter and just turned her back to me without any type of acknowledgement as if I weren't even standing at the counter. (she was not doing anything but standing there) I had to say excuse me twice before she would even turn back around. And when she did she acted as if I was a bother. Her facial expression, tone, and attitude was not friendly or welcoming on any appropriate level. I asked for the restroom key. She looked at me and frowned and handed the key to me. When returning the key and getting ready to place my order, her negative and unfriendly vibe was so, that I just left without food. Rebecca I know you're young but you should not work with the public if you have that type of attitude. Maybe go to college to work in a field enjoy. But this isn't it even...
