Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Santa Paula

Am from SoCal, very familiar with Roundtable and have enjoyed there pizza, salad bar and stores for Decades actually. Toppers is best in Land, IMO, but when in Fillmore not so convenient, so went to this Roundtable in Santa Paula. Pretty classic, space is a bit dated and narrow, could really use updating. No matter, I had my usual Double Pepperoni, Bell Pepper and Mushroom, individual size. It was Excellent, about perfect, plenty of toppings, right amount of sauce, great dough and cooked perfect, really enjoyed it. Son and daughter-in-law had a medium Pepperoni, was OK, but not as great as mine. They both had a Draft Beer and were fine with choices and the beer. I had fountain Soda which was great, machine mixed it right. Store does have a few different areas to sit, including good sized front area, a semi private area in back and then long strip of booths on side wall. Staff was light and so pick up of tables was slow, tables left with remnants for a while. Young man who took and delivered order was nice and clearly trying to do everything he could. We're newer to Santa Paula and ordered Zapparelli's delivery Halloween night. Was impressed with their pizza and fast delivery on such a busy night.

Fast forward to our first visit to the restaurant. LOVED IT!! The pizza is so good - thin pizza crust with a good crispiness to it and thr toppings and cheese go all the way to the edge ❤ big points in my book as I am not big crust fan.

We also had ordered salad bar. I wasn't expecting the premade salad dishes at the salad bar -they were DELICIOUS! I almost wished I had just loaded up my one salad bar trip with just their salad sides instead of making myself a salad.

Great customer service. Clean, comfortable and homey restaurant. They have deals and combos you can purchase.

I've been meaning to post this the moment we left the restaurant. My great grandmother recently passed away. After her wake, obviously my whole family and I were hungry and we needed a pick me up. She wouldn't have wanted us to go our separate ways right after we saw her and said our goodbyes. Long story short, thank you to everyone at Zapparelli's pizzeria for letting an insane and obnoxious family of 25 or so enter your restaurant at 9:30 pm even though you close at 10 and letting us stay waaay after closing time! You were able to whip out so many pizza's and more for us which were delicious by the way. Even after we left we were all shocked at how amazing the pizza was!
